Something is moving
Something is moving
Guys, slowly something seems to be moving.
This is still very little for us but should be seen as a reason to keep moving and to be more determined and organized.

Re: Something is moving
and the main thanks for this goes to David Healy, his constant commitment and his Citizen petition!
This recognition gives me great satisfaction. sure, we won't heal with a little extra wording on a piece of paper, but I hope that many more researchers will now open their eyes and take an interest in investigating the syndrome.
I think we'll see some good ones tomorrow!

Re: Something is moving
Not only that, but this gives all of us a HUGE tool to e.g. talk to other doctors and say - I suffer from PSSD - this IS an actual condition. It may eventually draw scientific attention, studies and looking for universal cure, because AD manufacturers - once PSSD is acknowledged - would also like to have a solution for this condition - so they can calm AD users - "Hey if You get PSSD dont worry, here is an antidote". So its very BIG news. Dr. Healy in particular, EMA and Daily Mail have done a big step for PSSD sufferers

AAArghh, nothing pissed me off like this comment today. Those retards have no clue what are they talking about. Wanna smash that person right in its stupid face. "Stop whining because of their withdrawal", I wish you to get PSSD for one fucking year and you'll start begging for mercy on your knees.Lack of sex drive is the least of my problems when struggling with life long severe depression. I have to be around for my children. And yes, the pills have been keeping me alive in the last 20 years. It is not as if I can choose whether to take them or not. It is the case of life and death for some of us. Having severe depression causes the lack of everything, starting with sex drive. No enjoyment from life. Simply existing till I can finally let go of this pain filled hell. They dont stop the pain but take the edge which helps me to be able to cope. When one is a life long sufferer, tiniest relief makes the whole difference. So, dont take it if you think you can manage without but stop whining because of their withdrawl or side effects. Most probably you could do without. Some of us dont have the luxury to choose.
Finding a cure is only a matter of time! Never quit!

This is great news for bringing awarness to PSSD. There's 1100 members on this forum. I want to see 1100 comments in the comment section.
Also could the OP change the title? Its very misleading.

This is good news. Still not a big fan of RxISK.org’s article material but Healy and his team still deserve a lot of credit for advocating for us and getting this known about.
PSSD from citalopram.
Took it Winter 2012-Summer 2016
Cut cold turkey. Symptoms include genital anesthesia, ejaculatory anhedonia, low libido, Burning/tingling genital pain.

Re: Something is moving
So since now, on every ssri/snri drug in the EU there will be a warning about PSSD?
