Quick update on my personal experience

Unread post by Micromegas »

Hey all,

I've been living with PSSD for a little over three years after taking sertraline (generic Zoloft). My back story is posted here: http://www.pssdforum.com/viewtopic.php? ... p=203#p203.

I originally posted that intro about three years ago on the old forum. I was 28 at the time. I'm now about to turn 32.

Long story short — my condition is the same, but I'm living my life anyway. I've had a few relationships over the last few years. At one time I never thought I would, and at that time I honestly thought I might never have sex again. Now I am able to have sex practically whenever my girlfriend and I want. One positive note is that I can last a long time, usually as long as I want.

I've experimented with several medications and supplements. I haven't taken anything on a daily basis for about a year.

Lately I've been taking .5 mg of ropinirole and half of a 25 mg Viagra about an hour ahead of time, and it's been working pretty well.

I'm thinking about giving daily supplements another shot to see if I can lift my "baseline" functioning at least a little.

I know it's a burden, but I urge everyone to hang in there and try to make the best out of whatever you're dealing with.

What the purpose of the ropinirole?

I tried taking a daily 5mg dose of Cialis for month. It somewhat worked, I would get erections, and even masturbate, but there was no enjoyment.
