I have digestive issues and I never eat dairy products.
Apparently calcium is involved in digestive enzymes so I thought it might be worth a try.
Since I haven't had a libido or erection for a long time, I can't compare its impact on my condition.
Calcium danger or not ?
Re: Calcium danger or not ?
Calcium supplementation is associated with an increase in health problems. Dietary calcium is the way to go. I would suggest a few things here;
1: You can buy digestive enyzymes. Enzymedica gold is popular. It helps me a lot when I eat stuff I shouldn't. Mileage may vary.
2: Supplementing fiber helps a lot and is helpful for this process.
3: A healthy gut biome is important for digestion. Probiotics are useful here if your gut biome has issues.
4: Glutamine can help gut health and leaky BBB. Mileage may vary. I get an adverse reaction from it in the form of extreme irritability.
4: Blood calcium is part of a standard blood test. I use walkinlab personally for my bloodwork. You can get calcium tested as well as a bunch of other things for less than 100 bucks. May want to get hormones (Testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, prolactin) checked if morning wood was normal for you and you lost it.
For me spicy food and caffeine really cause issues with my digestion. You probably have an intolerance you're not aware. If you're just looking for a higher sex drive there are medication options but aiming for a healthy gut is great nonetheless.
