Why does Vitamin D3 always crash me?

Unread post by ihatelexapro444 »

Anyone else gets this?

It's like a 100% thing, where if I take a vitamin d3 supplement, I would instantly crash, and it lasts for a couple of days. I never understood this.

Because is cyp 3a4 inducer. Lowers to a small extent the concentration of psychotropic drugs that persist for a very long time in the cerebrospinal fluid. Individuals with PSSD have a polymorphism in the gene encoding the aryl hydrocarbon receptor which prevents toxin efflux, resulting in drug accumulation and persistence in lipids. Vitamin D3 is changed by an AHR-dependent enzyme ( cyp101) to an active form that acts as a mild AHR agonist and promotes detoxification much more effectively than Cyp 3a4 induction. If you have, as I suspect anyone with severe PSSD has, low AHR gene activity then vitamin D3 may be poorly metabolized to the active form as well and accumulate in the inactive form which would only result in strong Cyp3a4 induction.

So what can be done about this?
Also how did you figure this out? Also this smells like bullshit, no way psychotropic drugs can persist in cerebrospinal fluid for years on end after quitting.

Also how come vitamin d3 from the sun doesn't cause this?

How can you be sure it's a bulshit? Have you personally investigated it somehow?

How can you be sure it’s not bullshit?
It’s always easier to say something than to prove it false (Brandolini’s law), so please be kind enough to give some explainations about your claims
