Antifungals

Unread post by C12345 »

I think I may have thrush and that the GP may give me an antifungal. Are there some antifungals that are safer for people with PSSD? Thanks 🙏

Be very careful with antifungals. They can crash you hard. There is no way to determine which one to take...

Hydrocortisone cream and Canestan cream (clotrimazole) fucked me up permanently big time...avoid at all costs.
Male
PSSD after 3 days on Sertraline (50mg) (Aurobindo) December 2016 to date.
Tinnitus, insomnia (1.5 hours/night sleep) poor memory/cognition as a bonus!
Possibly PSSD from October 1998...just didn't realise what I was suffering from! (pre internet)

I’ve taken a few, fluconazole orally has been fine and clotrimazole cream also no issues. I’ve too used a hydrocortisone cream however no issues. Varies between people. Good luck and hope all goes well!
