Many of us use magnesium in our stacks. A low dose of magnesium improves my orgasms (without magnesium, they are barely worth the effort). However, I need to use magnesium on occasion to get this benefit. If I take a low dose for five days or so, it is not really effective - and even worse, erections become nearly impossible. A high dose will really improve my mood, but I quickly (2-3 days) lose all interest in sex. Time and again, any supplement that increases serotonin eventually fails me. It then takes days to weeks to recover to my baseline.
I have very poor sensation, and have considered using a very low dose of melatonin in an attempt to restore some sensation (which would perhaps help with erection strength and orgasm as well). I know that melatonin can cause gonad shrinkage (and a host of sleep problems), so I will be very careful.
Any ideas / similar experiences appreciated.
