Arugula: if you dont eat it, you should try!

Unread post by raskolnikov »

Hey guys, what's up?

I bring good news and a simple "treatment" that could help some of you, as it helped me. I don't like using the word "cure", I think it's a bit sensationalist, but I must tell you that this is how I feel now: cured!

As a 6-7 years PSSD sufferer, I tried almost everything. Testosterone injections, cabergoline, ritalin, etc etc etc. Those things helped a little, but never solved the problem, not even close, I would say. In the last years, I wasn't trying anything, I was just trying to be positive and live my life, accepting my condition.

Just because I was willing to move on, doesn't mean I wasn't paying attention to my routine and my body answers to different activities and eating habits. One thing that I had been noticing in the last months is that seasoning food with pasli used to help with libido concerns. But it wasn't still a solution. I realized that eating a lot of pasli messed up with my sleep, and the sexual benefits weren't steady, they were quite inconsistent, sometimes, it helped a lot, sometimes it did almost nothing. But this pasli clue gave me a path that I found curious to follow: what if I tried some other dark leaves vegetables?

This is how I got to arugula. This is the most common dark leaf vegetable here in Brazil, I don't know how popular it is in other countries, but here it is really popular, easy to find and it's considered a really healthy food. So, why don't include it in my eating routine, at leat for a week? As a person that never had the habit of eating healthy vagetables, I don't even know how to sanitize those things... hahahahha... just bought a huge pack in the supermarket and started eating like two full hands of arugula leaves both in the lunch and dinner. My friends, it worked wonders!

The first thing I started noticing, after a few days, were the morning woods, really strong and frequent. My libido started improving, and so I had the final tests: hooked up with two girls (not at the same time, in different occasions, of course hahaha) and had no problem achieving an erection, mantaining it and doing all the job. I must say it was impossible a few months ago, even with viagra my chances of failing were huge. I didn't even think about using viagra those two times because I really wanted to test my "new" self, and I felt, previously, that my "powers" were back, like Voldemort coming back (ok, not a good example hahaha).

That's it, guys! One little change in my eating habits is doing a huge difference. I don't know what happens if I stop eating arugula. I must say that I don't eat it every meal anymore like in the beginning. As a junt food fan, sometimes I just go to McDonalds, hahahha, but I try to include arugula at least in 9 or 10 of my main weekly meals (counting 14 as the total - 7 lunchs and 7 dinners).

One other thing that I changed and I think that helped a little is starting wearing boxers. I used to use briefs, and I think boxers are way better.

I'm sure not everyone will benefit from those things above mentioned like I did. It's clear to me that there are subtypes of PSSD, people get it from different kinds of medicines, people reacts different to treatments, so I don't expect it to be a success for everyone, but what I say here is one thing: if you have PSSD, give arugula a try. It could help you, it is a healthy food, if it doesn't work, you have nothing to lose.

See you around, guys! Keep positive. Things will get better to everyone. Pay attention to your routine and your body answers to it.

Wow, that’s great.
But it isn’t a miracle, it should be the nitrate-nitrit-
NO pathway. Similar results should be possible with other vegetables containing nitrate.

It's possible the increased consumption of nitrates from arugula enhanced your nitric oxide levels, which can improve EQ. L-citrulline is also good at increasing nitric oxide.

Haven't many people tried Nitrates? Could this mean that there is some other component here that is helping?

I think I will give this a try.

From a study published this year:

"L-arginine administration could have played a pivotal
role in patients with PSSD. Nitric oxide (NO) is indeed the
main factor involved in endothelial-dependent relaxation of
human corpora cavernosa and oral L-arginine is an efficient
donor of NO. It is therefore possible that boosting the nitrergic
pathways may have rebalanced the iatrogenic dysfunctional
serotonergic tonic inhibition. In this regard, a
consistent body of literature stresses how L-arginine have
shown a certain efficacity in the treatment of ED, especially
in combination with PDE5i [42]."

On a simpler note, I started pounding arugula after reading your post and I have noticed some improvement, fairly early in week 2-3. This is not the "god I wish it were real" improvement that I was willing into existence earlier...I feel physical changes that didn't feel possible even 2 weeks ago. For the record, I've been trying several other interventions as well simultaneously, including St. John's Wort and Ginko Bilboa.

I made a post on what to do if Viagra stops working, and arugula was one intervention https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYi31GPoFe4

I know of someone who treated himself of not only sexual sides, but others too with large amounts of daily spinach, so the arugula makes sense, in the end, he was able to replicate the treatment with supplements, he discovered what he must take by analysing his dna and using ml to determine the nutrients X symptoms connection. Its sad that he doesnt want to help anyone... I know that his focus was sugar, protein and fat metabolism, antioxidants, plus he discovered a lot of snps connected to bile... bit K was one of the most valued targets, specially K2.

Theres a reserach that was done here in Brazil, regarding of the effects of SSRIs and the muscles
https://www.folhape.com.br/noticias/pes ... cul/82193/

its in portuguese, but to summarize, ssris did alter the ability of the muscles to capture and metabolize GLUCOSE... K2 plays a role here...

The ability to orgasm, basically. Not 10/10 but a good 6/10 which is probably 3x what I have experienced lately. I did lose the gains over the following couple of days, maybe because I became less stringent with the diet and had a lot of sugar/junk food. Still experimenting. Interesting about the K2 connection as I've also been taking a K2 supplement.
