Hi
I recently tried oxytocin nasal spray if anything it made things even worse.
Interesting though the feeling I got from it was the same 'rush' I can experience during any sexual activity. My thoughts are that perhaps I produce too much of the stuff and this is the problem. Does anyone know how to block Oxytocin? If so I may give that a go.

I specifically meant 'during' there - nothing to do with climaxDarman wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:21 am Hi

Oxycontin is the main neurotransmitter along with dopamine in the neural pathways from brain to spine to genitals that drives erections, Oxy and NOS pathways are directly connected.
Not sure what would happen if you had too much but it's critical for erection.
There is norepinephrine involvement in the erectile tissue too but more so at the neuovascular mechanism rather than the nerve pathways from brain to genitals itself. There is involvement in the brain as well but I have not studied this much yet.
Serotonin, what everyone is fixated on doesn't have much involvement directly but has downstream other neurotransmitter regulatory roles in sexual function which seems to be possibly why SSRIs etc cause SD?

Re: oxytocin nasal spray
NE (Norepinephrine) - Erection inhibitor
ACh (Acetylcholine) - Erection activator
Penile smooth muscle relaxation
-NE
+ACh
Penile smooth muscle contraction
+NE
-ACh
Serotonin is both inhibitor / activator, need to be balanced for normal erectile function.

Thanks for your replies.
Is it possible to block oxytocin? I would give it a go.

Where did you get the nasal spray? I heard there are lot of fakes around, but I’d like to try a legit one.
