Is B12-supplements safe?

I have recently been to my GP for blood work, and my B12 vitamins are really low, below the reference point.

Is it safe to take B12 supplements with PSSD? My symptoms are getting worse still after quitting antidepressants, and thats why i am i little nervous.

What is best of cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin?

I have cyanocobalamin in 9 micrograms at the moment!

I dont have any negative experiences with vitamines myself, but people have reported issues with methylated vitamines

I have taken B12 both through supplements and injections. Didn't do much good but didn't do worse either.

So you did not react to methylated B12?

I haven't had any reactions to foods or supplements, but I don't really take any supplements other than occasionally vitamin D as it's winter here.

What about natural foods super high in all the vitamin Bs like Vegemite?

Have tried that, but it is not good enough and will take to much time to correct my symptoms.

My GP wants me to have hydroxy-B12 injections. They will be 1000 mcg.

I reacted badly to 1000 mcg cyanocobalamin which I took as tablets, so scared because I still feel bad from that. And it was three weeks ago.

Afraid of causing permanent worsening.

I dont know if my symptoms stem from methylation or from B12 affecting neurotransmitters
