ED: PDE5 inhibitor responders VS nonresponders

Unread post by cosmo »

I’d like to know if anyone has an interpretation of the fact that some of us respond well to PDE5 inhibitor like Viagra or Cialis and for others they don’t work.

What can we deduce from this discrepancy?

Maybe the responders have preserved a little bit of libido which is enough to obtain an erection with the help of these drugs?
Anafranil (Clomipramine) May 2019-October 2021
Lantanon (Mianserin) May 2019-May 2021
Trittico (Trazodone) May 2021-October 2021
Rivotril (Clonazepam) May 2019-present

PSSD since October 2021

I think its the later case. These meds don't really work unless you have at least some libido. I have had this experience.

Nearly all of the time I don't need any help. If I have trouble but still horny I only need 25mg or less of viagra and get rock hard for ages and stay like that for at least 10-30 min after finishing. When I have bad libido which was the last year of taking an antipsychotic called Rexulti before quitting, a full 100mg of viagra basically didn't work and only made me feel unwell, pressure in head, high heart rate, red eyes and hot flushes.

I have problems with my glans erecting properly after quitting Rexulti and becasue it's a neurological issue, viagra pretty much doesn't help the glans but makes my shaft even harder to the point it hurts.
