25 PSSD success stories with steroids (plus 12 PFS/PAS cures)

Unread post by prop »

Update 1 year later!

Someone going by the name Sweaty_Literature_69 a.k.a. Spyros claims to have cured themselves by formulating a theory based on these cases and devising a regimen based on it. See this thread for details.

Enjoy!

Had PSSD for 3 years from fluoxetine. Took Clomid 25mg per day for 2 weeks, Nolvadex 50mg per day for 2 weeks, then a 1 month break, and repeated this cycle 2 more times:
I will not be doing another cycle because normal androgen function is restored. This is apparant by increased beard growth, oily skin, body odor and return of libido and sperm volume. In other words, pre pssd level of functioning.
https://pssdforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3604

Not a whole lot of details:
Reversed my pssd with Cialis, Alfuzosin, HCG combo
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... hcg_combo/

Testosterone was tested at 1000ng/dl, still had PSSD for 6 years from citalopram. Took testosterone & HCG and was cured within 8 weeks (continues to take testosterone & HCG):
I cured my pssd with Testosterone . When I say cures I mean cured, fully restored.
https://camas.github.io/reddit-search/# ... one%20%22}

Had PSSD for 5 years from venlafaxine, cured with testosterone injections:
Although I still liked to look at hot women the connection between my mind and my genitalia seemed lost. Erections were hard to achieve.

When I look at women now I feel that tingling im my body again also I feel more comfortable talking to them again. Without touching myself I can get an erection, also daytime fantasizing came back.
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... tosterone/

Had PSSD for 8 months from Zoloft, but normal testosterone levels. Took 250mg testosterone enanthate per week for 2 weeks, then 500mg per week for 2.5 months. Waited 3 weeks, then began PCT with 50mg Clomid and 20mg Nolvadex every day for 2.5 weeks, with HCG 1000iu every other day for 4 days, followed by HCG 500iu every other day for 24 days:
I’m not sure why it is so effective but i feel better than before I even started zoloft.
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... t_e_cycle/

Had PSSD for 8 years from citalopram. Cured it with a cycle of HCG (unclear whether this included testosterone) followed by PCT consisting of Nolvadex:
Hcg followed by nolva and my hpta and endocrine system back online . And normal sex drive again
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/jsqrxq/the_cure/

Had PSSD despite high total testosterone. Did a cycle of testosterone followed by HCG:
I had no libido, my erections were weak and i couldn’t sustain them. I has numbness also. All of these things were alleviated
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... d_my_pssd/

Had PSSD for 9 months after Zoloft. Symptoms included no libido, genital numbing, delayed orgasm, and anorgasmia. Cured it all with a month of 25mg Proviron per day:
proviron flicked the switch back on the Zoloft turned off. I’m not sure if it will work for anyone but a month of proviron seemed to get me back to pre ssri levels.
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... y_of_hope/

Had normal testosterone levels, but testosterone still worked for their PSSD. Because the original post was deleted, and only their comments are accessible, it's unclear whether they are still taking an SSRI and/or testosterone:
Basically, testosterone worked for me

Undervalued post, because hormonal route is the only viable way here. There are way more recoveries via hormonal manipulations, but people will still will be talking about ''gut health'' nonsense.

The only thing I've noticed is so many people especially in America that have pssd are on trt. Most see no improvement
Sertraline 2018-2019
Fluoxetine November 2020

It really does seem HCG is key here as it stimulates neurosteroids as well as other hormones other than testosterone.

Possibly TRT alone is not enough.

Found another story. Only Clomid apparently.
...
The doctor, after assessing the situation and based on my petition about starting on testosterone replacement, prescribed me clomiphene citrate. Clomid is used in females to help them to ovulate for males is an off label testosterone booster that does not compromise fertility.

We started the treatment with the doctor assuring me the treatment is not going to work. The reality was completely the opposite, I took Clomid for six months and checked levels again. After six months on Clomid that skyrocket testosterone levels the measurements indicated an small increase. Another proof that total testosterone levels are not an accurate measure. The treatment restored libido and erections back near normality. Two years later I finished the treatment with Clomid I can say full recovery has happened. Now I combine Korean Red Gingseng of really high quality altogether with L-arginine and pycnogenol.. The latter two are also of great help improving male fertility based on the research I did on-line.

Had both PSSD & PFS. Cured by Primobolan:
I suffered from some major sexual disfunction after SSRI's and fibasteride. Primobolan cured me
https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... d/gr0nvyc/

Had PSSD from 3 weeks of an SSRI. Cured it with a cycle of Testosterone Enanthate (somewhere between 250 to 500mg weekly) followed by PCT, with some AI use. Was still cured 6 months later:

https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... d/gr21oji/

Treating PSSD with 500mg Testosterone Enanthate per week, along with "a bit" of Masteron:
I felt sexually and cognitively fucked after SSRI's. Pinned test, boom. Test and Mast will do you right. Don't overthink this. Good luck.
https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... d/gr8iihf/

Cured PFS with 8 months of 500mg to 1000mg Testosterone weekly:
I had a case of PFS that was a severe as it gets. Im talking about the physical inability to have erections and sex drive.
I think it took 6 months before i felt ready to meet a girl again. Around 8 months and i was pretty much recovered. So yeah i didnt do anything specific but the recovery took really long. On a sidenote i've seen a few other people recover the same way. Just bombarding their bodies with strong androgens.
https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... d/gr0uhqj/

Cured PFS with 6 months of 250iu hCG Monday/Wednesday/Friday followed by a week and a half of daily 25mg Clomid and DHEA:

https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... 8/hap06wy/

Cured PAS with 6 months of blasting steroids:
I took high dose Accutane at 16 and it completely castrated my sex drive and erection ability. Went my senior year in high school not able to fuck my gf, like you could have two models offering me a threesome and I couldn’t even feel a sexual urge it completely eliminated that factor from my brain it felt. Three years later the problem persisted and really was destroying my mental health in college so that’s when I started to blast gear, 6 months later and my sex drive was fully functionally restored and now it’s the complete opposite of that state where I think about sex so much it interferes with my job lol.
https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... 0/g3dswxq/

Cured 6 months of PFS with testosterone injections:
I tried topical 5-ar inhibitors and I literally didn't feel any sort of horniness for 6 months
I was one of the lucky guys who recovered from Test injections
https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... 6/g2ym80n/

Cured 8 months of PSSD from Effexor with a few months of 150mg weekly testosterone, 50mg daily Proviron, 20mg Cialis, and eventually 0.25mg cabergoline twice a week:
I took Effexor for only around 4 weeks and I had full ED for 8 months after
my dick finally started working one day and since then I’m getting a lot of random boners, I get hard in like a second and have a lot of sex all the time it’s like it never happened. My libido is very high.
https://camas.github.io/reddit-search/# ... oviron%22}

Cured PFS with 2500iu hCG every 5 days for a month, followed by 10 days of Clomid:
i am now totally satisfied with my health 🙂
https://forum.propeciahelp.com/t/i-beli ... ident/4054

Cured 4 years of PFS with 250iu hCG Monday/Wednesday/Friday for 6 months:
After nearly 4 years of suffering, I have finally & fully recovered from Post Finasteride Syndrome
https://forum.propeciahelp.com/t/joekoo ... -hcg/46717

Cured 11 years of PFS with 200mg Proviron per day for 7 weeks:
After stopping 7 weeks later (when I ran out of my proviron), things felt off for a few weeks but then after around two months I got back to my pre-PFS state.
https://forum.propeciahelp.com/t/cured- ... ears/42363

Had PSSD after quitting 6 months of 20mg Paxil. Total & Free Testosterone were 905 and 19. Successfully treated by 200mg Testosterone Cypionate per week, which raised their Total & Free Testosterone to 1314 and 326.8:
I realized that I couldn't orgasm (anorgasma) and then started to have ED
After about 4-6 weeks on TRT, I've never had any issues since. In fact, my libido has been livid
- https://old.reddit.com/r/steroids/comme ... ontext=999
Wellbutrin + Modafinil + Testosterone Gel obliterated most of the PSSD and Anhedonia. Libido came back too (85% improvement). Some sensation returned too.
https://old.reddit.com/r/PSSD/comments/ ... ontext=999

Got severe PSSD from quitting Lexapro. Treating it with 100mg Testosterone per week:
Lexapro fucked me up especially when I quit it cold turkey
I had severe PSSD and depression. I used to have ED and premature ejaculation.

As symptoms start to ease up about 4-6 weeks into trt;It took at least one year at 100mg per week to really see the potential for trt. It has changed my life as I have a sex drive again.

Working out is amazing now on trt.
https://old.reddit.com/r/Testosterone/c ... ontext=999

Treating an apparently mild case of PSSD with TRT:
Started trt 6 months ago because I physically felt like I hadn’t overcome the lasting effects of ssri. My t levels were around 350.
I feel great now. Plain and simple.
https://old.reddit.com/r/Testosterone/c ... n/g0x6qus/

Had PFS for 6 years, treating it with 50mg Proviron daily:
After I got PFS my libido died, I stopped liking women, my brain wouldn't work, and my personality changed to a 90 old man.
Proviron saved my life. After taking 50mg of Proviron I got my first erection in years. After a few days I starting liking women again and became sexually from frustrated. Even my genitals began to grow normal size again.
https://www.isarms.com/forums/threads/p ... ome.18175/

Had PFS for about 6 years, treating it with 2.5% DHT gel:
I will tell you how I solved my problem with post-finasteride syndrome, which produces no erections or little libido even if you have stopped taking the famous drug years ago.
I have been prescribed a 2.5% DHT gel that is applied to the shoulders and forehead once a day.
The lack of DHT not only affected my libido, but also my mood, since DHT plays a fundamental role in the human body. Now I can happily say that I no longer have any problem, strong erection all day and all night. Incredible!

Had PSSD for 3 years after 1 month of Paxil. Cured it with 25mg clomiphene citrate every day for 1 month. Still cured 6 months later:
I took this damn Paxil at the age of 19 which ruined my 3 years of life. I couldn't function at all, fog in my head, I couldn't think at all, like a zombie, I just sat and stared at one point. I couldn't keep one thought in my head. I was forgetful, I couldn't sleep, maybe 4 hours in total, libido 0, erection 0, genital anesthesia. I lost a few pounds and lost muscle.
The doctor prescribed clomiphene citrate for one month. I took it for a month and felt a sudden improvement and change! Suddenly I woke up fresher, I could sleep longer, my morning erections appeared, the fog in my head disappeared, everything went back to normal! I repeat, everything is back to normal!

Had PSSD from a month of Prozac and Trazadone. Was on TRT throughout. Treated with vitex, yohimbine, green tea extract, methylfolate, and pregnenolone:
I took fluoxetine(prozac) and after 1 week had anorgasmia and erectile dysfunction. I kept taking it for a total of 1 month. I was also on trazadone at the same time. After 1 month I discontinued both drugs. I had my prolactin measured before and after 3 weeks on SSRIs. It increased 61% from 5.9 to 9.5. I'm on TRT so I know exactly what my testosterone, estrogen, CBC, etc are.
I've been off SSRIs for 2.5 weeks and finally had a decent erection and orgasm for the first time in 5.5 weeks. I tried yohimbine alone and pregnenolone alone but it didn't work. I don't know the exact mechanisms of all these supplements but it was like a switch going on, just like it was like a switch going off when SSRIs induced it. Perhaps there's a tipping point for all these neurotransmitters and once you cross the line everything works fine.
https://old.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/com ... n/e8z4yfh/

Had PSSD from 10 years of Paxil. Recovered with lithium carbonate 600mg, 100mg testosterone cypionate per week, and 30mg trenbolone every other day:
almost complete inability to get erection, if/when I do it it small, weak, and transient. Small, soft, cold genitalia and genital anesthesia. Depersonalization, brain fog, increased urination, depression, anhedonia.
I recovered with lithium carbonate 600 mg, 100 mg cyp weekly, and 30 mg tren eod.
https://old.reddit.com/r/PEDs/comments/ ... t/i3lay0r/

Had 827 ng/dl testosterone. Partially cured PSSD with a 10 week cycle of Testosterone Enanthate 400mcg per week, Halotestin 5mg twice per day daily for the last 3 weeks, hCG 300iu per week, and Proviron 25mg (as needed), followed by a PCT (currently in progress as I write this) of enclomiphene citrate 25mg daily and hCG 200i weekly with Proviron 25mg:
Had some permanent libido improvement from TRT, even though not completely cured. Their testosterone before TRT was between 450 and 600:
Treating PFS with TRT. They accidentally gave themselves post-AI syndrome on top of PFS, and also claim to have had PSSD too, but based on the context I assume their automatic translator turned PFS into PSSD. It's hard to say:
BrilliantSeason9932 wrote:Sat Aug 19, 2023 9:37 pmI cured PSSD with sustanon 125mg per week
Had PSSD almost 1 year, cured with TRT. However, this case is suspicious, because it's a deleted comment from a 5-month-old Reddit account that only had 1 other comment, and 0 posts:
Had PSSD 4 years before trying steroids, which made them feel cured while on cycle, but only some of the benefits remained after moving on to PCT:

Thanks men, this is really important to keep these recoveries here, which also proves that main issue lies within AR

P.S. Proviron should be taken sublingually, since it has only 3% bioavailability orally.
