Currently I feel very good.

Sertraline makes me so "satisfied" / "full" / "saturated".
Before reinstating Sertraline, I had to keep myself very busy all the time and meet people, else I would feel anxious and lonely.
Now I can easily stay alone without any problems.

The social version of me without Sertraline seemed more "honest", but now with Sertraline reinstatement, my libido is high again, and sex feels just great.
I think Bupropion and Bispiron also do something wit my psyche / wellbeing.

So for me currently reinstating was much better than waiting.
But I have to say that I have never experienced brain fog or concentration problems.
While I was using Sertraline (before PSSD), all was fine.

What dose are you at?

Around 300 mg Sertraline.

I have Concerta now. I was advised to use 18 mg / day.
However, I don't feel good. I'm rather hectic and driven and nervous.

Does this get better?

Why are you at 300mg sertaline when the max dose is 200mg?

Your also on Bupropion and Bispiron? So you can't say sertaline alone has contributed to high libido and sex feeling good again?

I don't use Buspiron and Bupropion anymore since 2 days as I don't feel any effect from them.
And I use such a high dose of Sertraline because I barely feel it.
It's like I have become very insensitive to Sertraline after PSSD.

At first, I only used Sertraline, and I felt my libido being higher again with more ejaculation, some feeling, etc.

JakeLawe wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:48 pm Have you noticed any hair thinning with the sertraline btw?
I do feel now that my hair is thinner. It must have happened over the last few weeks.
But that is not possible.

The hair that grows out is dead, so I doubt that dead hair can thin out.
It would have grown thin from the start.

But I don't feel that when I touch my hair. My hair feels thin even on hair that is like 5 cm long.
I would rather guess that the hair does not have so much fat / oil anymore?

It's probably telogen effluvium. Is it more thin on the center of your scalp? then it may be. It reverses back after few months if the agent is withdrawn or dosage adjusted.

Use biotin, primrose oil, ferritin. You should see a change. Sertraline may mess with hormones or one's own anxiety and stress can do so too, it may also be a manifestation of the later

It could also be one's imagination just saying.

You still taking the sertraline? how are you feeling emotionally and sexually If I may ask?

Thanks.
I am currently so sleepy that I have real problems running my business.
I will now try to stop Sertraline for 1 month and hope that everything reverses like in that article by Dr. Healy "Food for thought".
Sexually, it's good, but I feel depressend and weak and sleepy.

However, I've been on Methylphendiat during the last week and didn't have sleep problems.
I really don't know what to do.

But I definitively know that the sleepiness started 1,5 years ago and not with reinstatement.

I'm the autoimmun disease guy anyway, so if narcolepsy if is an autoimmune disease, just throw it at me. :-)
