So far every option has exactly one vote. As always there is no clear pattern.
Re: Have you tried St Johns Wort (SJW)?
I took SJW for two years on a daily routine in between my first three years of SSRIs and the two pills Citalopram who gave me PSSD one year ago. The brand I used was Laif900 from bayer.
The effect that SJW had on my sexuality before (!) PSSD where the following:
+ stronger orgasm
+ better ejaculary controll
The negative sexual side effects came after the first year of use:
- mild numbing of genitals
- very, very mild effect on erection strength
- looking back it definitely diminished my libido a bit compared to being drug free
I stopped SJW in August 2019 and the sexual effects positive and negative didn’t change. So from my perspective now, SJW already gave me a very, very mild PSSD or somehow altered my system. And I am pretty sure my full blown PSSD only happened because of the SJW use the two years before the two pills of citalopram one year ago.
I just want to point out that SJW isn’t harmless. Especially if the time span between an SSRI and SJW isn’t very long.
I know another PSSD sufferer who also has a same story like me. He took SJW shortly after escitalopram and now has PSSD. In his case the story is just the other way around.
Anyway to answer the OP question, I took SJW again three weeks after getting PSSD, but only for two days. It had no positive impact on my PSSD, but gave me more numbness and more ED. I think it’s hard to tell if it would have bettered me if I had given it more time, but tbh I doubt that. Fortunately the negative effects faded
away after a couple of days.

Mods: Any chance of making polls sticky or otherwise increasing their visibility? For instance, have a different poll every month.
Right now they flash past too quickly in the conversation to gather enough statistics to be meaningful.

Re: (poll) Have you tried St Johns Wort (SJW)?
It seems many people experience a numbing effect from SJW and decide to quit. I wonder if this numbing effect would reverse after a few weeks or so if the body adapts. For anyone who quit early due to initial negative effect, it might be worth using SJW for a few weeks at least, even if the initial effect is negative.

I tried SJW 5 years ago before I got PSSD, it erased my libido completely for a few days, (was 21 and horny 24/7 then, I knew something was wrong) luckily it came back after a few days, I haven't had the balls to touch it again.
