Re: PSSD research looking for patients!
His answer relates to sexual dysfunction during the treatment. This has nothing to do with PSSD.
If you want to contact somebody, contact Waldinger. He knows 10-15 people with PSSD.

Re: PSSD research looking for patients!
There is a huge difference!!!!!!!!
60-70% who take a SSRI suffer from sexual dysfunction! The sexual dysfunction disappears nearly always within a few weeks after stopping the treatment. That's why many physicians don't know PSSD.

No, nearly always it goes away.scot wrote: Sexual dysfunction begins during using SSRIs, which never resolves-goes way after stopping SSRIs.
Moreover many PSSD cases didn't have sexual dysfunction during the treatment or the sexual dysfunction got worse after withdrawal.

You can contact this professor. Nobody prevents you from doing that. The more awareness the better. But it won't help to find more participants, because he even doesn't seem to know PSSD. If you want to contact a physician who knows several PSSD cases, contact Waldinger.
Moreover it is a fact that SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction can begin with withdrawal. It's not my opinion, it's a fact.

Yes, that's Ben-Sheetrit's definition. Waldinger, Healy, this forum, etc have a different definition which contains also a sexual dysfunction which appears after withdrawal.
