Update:

Sexual stuff holding constant. At a good state. Had some great sex last with my fiancée last night.

Mentally: still doing 100%

Got a second job on weekends doing construction to help myself learn how to renovate property.

Finished my first woodworking project. Little bit of upholstery and sewing as well.

Got a 3D printer and learned fusion 360 (3D modeling software). Have designed a lot of stuff for the house already.

Am currently building a replica of a 300 dollar cereal dispenser and having a blast

thanks so much for posting the update. Really appreciate it.
Very happy for you that thinks are continuing to work out well, and I hope it stays that way. That's awesome that you've had the impetus and motivation to develop these new rewarding skills :0)

It's really interesting that in your case, PSSD has improved with this combination, since buspirone is used as an antidote to cancel out the sexual side effects for people taking SSRIs. I knew that this was the case for wellbutrin and buspirone but recently read that mirtazepine was also commonly used for this purpose.
We seldom hear of people with PSSD trying these combinations. Often the thought of taking an SSRI again is too frightening. Also, generally these combinations take a while to work.

The more I think about it, the more tempting it becomes to give it a try, but I've got an appointment with a hormone specialist first, so want to discuss the situation with him before going down this route.

Buspirone is definitely helping me. Mainly with my fatigue and anhedonia. I’m taking 5 mg 3x a day.

Just wanted to post an update.

Non sexual stuff: awesome, absolutely crushing it. Job, stock market, hobbies. Really in the zone in a lot of ways.

Sexual stuff: the past month or two I’m doing really damn well. Get boners just by thinking about erotic things. Often have morning wood. Always hard and when masterbating, can usually make myself bust to the first or second video. It’s also like always a really enjoyable experience. Also, If I go a day or two without getting off, it’s like super intense when I do. This is interesting because in the heights of my pssd, it was almost the opposite where the longer I didn’t orgasm the shittier and weaker it was when I finally did.

In terms of my combo, I’m usually doing about 10mg Prozac + 30mg buspirone in the morning. I take a little vyvanse - 10mg maybe, and I’ve been slamming hard seltzer like day and night for the past month which has been grear.

Otherwise : have baby #2 coming in 5-6 weeks so we’ll see how that goes.

Anyone try this combo yet? I’m like maybe 1.5 years into it now? Not sure. But it’s been a steady ride upwards. Quality of life is very high.

My combo is a bit similar to yours, but I didn't have the balls to add prozac.

Congratulations man! I'm not sure how I missed this thread all this time. This combo is very interesting to me, as I am more focused on bringing my mood/interests back to where they were (far better than it was following discontinuation, but it is still putting a massive strain on my relationship). Thank you so much for posting updates! I really needed to hear this today.
