How did they recover?
Was time a factor?

They all healed within time. They tried supplying in the beginning and because it didn’t work they stopped and healed with time.

Furthermore, nobody knows what damage they really had. Severe physical symptoms lke pelvic/prostate pain, no reaction to meds or drugs like benzos/alcohol?
Such people with real PSSD/PFS are the long-term cases.

There are definitely chronic cases and I don’t want to downplay that. I consider myself severe at the moment too. But shouting out estimated statistics about healing and not healing is just not well-founded. This is the internet and if I get to know three people in the real world who recovered completely within time that shows off a completely different picture. I just want to share that to give people hope the same way I try to give it to myself.

Though I can imagine how much you are suffering Trazo. Don’t get me wrong, I hope you can get better sooner or later. I hope that for everybody of us.

The three people were former patients of my actual therapist. They all took SSRIs. I don’t know the exact drugs. But they all had the typical symptoms of anhedonia, libido loss and ED. They were all male. They recovered completely within 3, 6 and 12 months. They all took supplements and cialis in the beginning. But it didn’t help, so they decided to wait. The first two recovered gradually. The third one who was the worst case recovered over night. He just woke up and the libido was switched on again. I know you may argument that they probably didn’t even have „real“ PSSD. I don’t know how they reacted to drugs and alcohol or else, but I know that their symptoms have resolved completely. I hope this story maybe can let someone see a little light. Stay strong guys!

Probably something wrong with GABA or sertonin receptors.

I think it's definitely possible. The body is an incredible thing, it's amazing what it can do. Since June I have made big improvements, and they are only getting better.

After many years, I share the same experience. They are only getting better too.
Keep in mind that there's no magic pill/combo that you take and wait.
You need to address every symptom gently, but also negative thoughts, ruminations, and despair can be helped with psychotherapy.
Having friends, family, partners outside internet forums is quite important too.
