It's not ridiculous, your body has trp channels which sense temperature range. Also TRH and orexin and GNIH are known to be sensitive to temperature. And many other things likely.

Head pressure / brain ache / headaches

Unread post by Spins »

Has anyone found anything that helps with the feeling of pressure in your head and the feeling of your brain aching? My neck even aches and will get stiff. My brain kinda feels like it's in a clamp all day. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The same. I haven't had a hot shower for past 6 years.

BTW Symptoms worsening due to heat intolerance is a common trait in the Alzheimer disease. I haven't researched the mechanism, but I bet this phenomenon is not even explained.

Can be anxiety but you should find a doctor if symptoms don’t pass.

Headache or migraine. The brain has no pain receptors. Brain surgeons don't numb it for surgery.

That sounds interesting. I tried to find info on this but could not. Do you maybe have links/texts talking about alzheimer patients not tolerating heat? Thanks
