Moclobemide should work really good as its a reversible MAOI-A inhibitor, there are studies also proven that it in fact improves sexual function.

Improvements on moclobemide

Unread post by lost_soul »

Hi everyone, I can't find the right thread so sorry for making a new one but I am seeing definite improvements on moclobemide which I have been on for 10 days now. That is at the same time as coming off a ton of drugs and getting back on risperidone. And I do think I am slightly better after the fact from my estradiol trial. That is all, stay strong everyone.
21, male, extreme pssd for four years
Tried inositol (slight improvements) cialis (very limited improvements) yohimbine (slight improvements) maca root (no effect) bacopa monieri (no effect) estradiol-17b (pronounced improvement in all areas of sexuality)

Lost Soul, I'm glad that you are feeling somewhat better. I'm also glad to hear that the estrogen may have had a permanent effect. Doesn't moclobemide have similar action to Bupropion? I had almost a week of relief from PSSD from Bupropion but it faded away.

I have used moclobemide in the past for periods of up to about 8months and i have to say, it is my favourite antidepressant so far. Clears the mind in a subtle and genuine way, has good energizing properties and has a very fast onset of action. Great for mood and it does improve sexuality a bit. Definitely the best antidepressant i have been on. Keep dosing on the long term and it will prove a great ally to put your life on good tracks!

SO frustrated that I can't get this (UK). My pharmacist was completely unwilling to even discuss it. Does anyone (UK) know how you can speak to someone who's not your regular dr/pharmacist without going private? He was useless - the usual kind of idiot that says 'we prescribe SSRI's and they're very safe and have no side effects' shit
