So, it's obvious that although Professor Melcanghi's team is already interested in PSSD, we would have just as much benefit from contacting other teams because we would certainly have more success in the search for a treatment and that we would certainly move forward more quickly.
If anyone knows how to contact a team of researchers, knows one or more people who want to work on the PSSD, there is a program "Cluster 1 Health of Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation" made available for researchers and research by the European Union.
In the letter issued by the European Commission on the issue of the PSSD, one of the arguments put forward was this:
"One of the priorities of Cluster 1 'Health'[1] of Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation[2], is the development of more effective preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring strategies for diseases. This includes more effective treatments for mental disorders. Researchers should be able to find opportunities for funding research related to post-SSRI sexual dysfunction through Horizon Europe, as call topics are generally broad and disease/disorder agnostic. & Tenders’portal”.

Attention!
For the moment this program is only available until 2027 so hurry up!
I have no idea where to start or how to do it, I've never done this.
I was thinking more particularly of a team that would focus on the role of ISSRs on the expression of 5a-reductase and of a treatment that could reactivate the expression of this gene or of a substitute.
This treatment if it turns out that this enzyme has been impacted by medications and if it is effective for us who have PSSD should also be beneficial for people with PFS and perhaps even more, to treat depression, symptoms categorized as schizophrenia or psychosis, irritable bowel, etc.
I classified it in general because I didn't really know where to publish it but if the moderators want to move the topic, that's up to them.
Does anyone know a group of researchers or a researcher who is interested in PSSD?
