I already provided a detailed analysis of the factors I associated with recovery. While I do think depression can be an aggravating factor in PSSD, and for some may be the primary factor, I personally do not think it was for me, because I've had worse depression after I was cured but still maintained good sexual function.
Do you think it’s possible that your recovery was just natural? And all of the other stuff that you did was just killing time while you recovered? The only reason I ask is because before I went on SSRI again I achieved a natural recovery myself.

Yes it's possible it was natural. But there was a strong time correlation between certain things and improvements in symptoms. So I lean towards the hypothesis that some things helped. It could be a mix of both. For people wondering if they should wait for a natural recovery or try things, I would only try things after optimizing lifestyle for 2-3 yrs and hitting a plateau. This means maintaining good diet/nutrition, regular exercise, and consistent sleep for a long period of time. Those habits will pay off in post-recovery life anyway, so might as well get them down now. Also use that time to investigate other possible health issues and work on mental health via talk therapy, meditation, picking up hobbies, etc. You want to maximize the chances of natural recovery before venturing into risky territory like hormones, psychiatric meds, and niche supplements.
