treatment for loss of erection, loss of visual stimulus and inorgasmia with premature ejaculation

Unread post by cyclops »

Hello, as the title says, I've taken various SSRIs and SNRIs before because I had misdiagnosed mild ADHD. When I stopped SSRIs in the past, I noticed my libido and sexual function would return to normal within 3-6 months, each time taking longer.

Currently, I am off SSRIs and SNRIs and can have sex on Cialis just fine, but have the following problems:
1) Without Cialis, I can get an erection but as soon as I start having sex the good feeling on the penis head makes me lose my erection (almost as if I ejaculated). I can regain erection fairly quickly, but then the process repeats.
2) I can sort of orgasm without Cialis, but erections get softer the closer it gets to the orgasm and I would ejaculate just before reaching the orgasm and then orgasm.
3) Visual stimulus no longer produces an erection for me even with Cialis - I need physical stimulation.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and fixed this?

Yes, to me, after SSRI all the things are back (specially non delayed ejaculation, my big problem when taking SSRIs) but not erection… visual / psychological erection become more difficult in normal situations and sometimes easy in unusual situations.

I don’t know how to fix that but maybe some dopamine drugs can help.

What kind of dopamine drugs did you have in mind?

Bupropion and Buspirone are both dopaminergic.

Vyvanse works by slowly increasing the levels of dopamine and norepinephrine in your brain. Norepinephrine is a neurotransmitter that increases attention and alertness. Dopamine is a natural substance that increases pleasure and helps you focus.
+ Norepinephrine can be bad for erection.
