RxISK - Sonny OP

I was contacted by people from this site. Here is the main portion of the communication:

What the RxISK team would like to do is to ensure that FDA, or other regulator or the companies get to know the extent of the problem. At present there is no coding term for PSSD - so they can legitimately deny they have any reported cases.

David Healy is linked to Rxisk - an adverse event reporting website. Rxisk have uniquely created a PSSD coding term so we can both quantify the problem and create a visual image of where the cases are in a way that FDA - MHRA and others can't and won't.

RxISK also lets every one, rather than just doctors report.

What can be done with the data among other things is create Heatmaps that will show the global distribution for the problem but will also show where there are doctors who believe in the reality of the condition.

Have put the steps into a series of slides attached - but here is the verbal,

Go into Rxisk.org
Go to the Sex Zone which is on the front page
Go to report a side effect
Look under Other and you will see
PDSD and PSSD
Click on PSSD and report

Anyone who reports can generate a Rxisk Report and take to their doc or to a pharmacist.

The aim is to build 2 HeatMaps. - One of people with PSSD - to do this the aim is to get 1000 people to report

The second is a HeatMap of docs who are accepting or not - this can be created by doctors who go into Rxisk and confirm a report, or not.

They have a new reporting tool specially designed for PSSD now. I have updated the link here and on the HTML page. Report again with this as it will be more specific to PSSD.

we are going to use this form to write our research. If some 40-50 people write on this, this will become cluttered.I emailed them yesterday and proposed to create a forum or somethinge better, don't know if they will take in account.
Yes, I think the same. We already have the yahoo group.
