how to cure yourself?

Unread post by Pawel.07 »

Hello.
I'm taking lurasidone 37 mg and duloxetine 60 mg. before that I took all the neuroleptics of the new generation, and venlaflaxine 150 mg, and then escitalopram 20 mg. Now I don't have any erections, almost ... What do I have to do to cure myself of this? Apparently the situation worsens when you stop using SSRI, but I read openly now that a few years after the withdrawal it will improve? So it is better to stop taking antidepressants completely or go to the lowest dose of antidepressants? And can I switch to tianeptine, will it not worsen the matter and can I give up PSSD after a few years with tianeptine? I just want to recover from PSSD and find myself a woman, but I don't know how to do it and the doctors don't even know that there is such a thing ...

Is it generally safe to go down with antidepressants completely and enter the third generation, i.e. coaxil, or to add only the lowest dose of SSRI to coaxil?

I am asking for help because I am devastated!

You are still on meds, don't do like many around that panicked, self tapered or quit cold turkey and ended adding one more issue to be obsessed about, like: "was it proper tapering? Did I fuck myself doing CT making things worse?". You are having sexual dysfunction while taking it, it's been known for ages, and it's the major reason for quiting these treatments, these doctors are not used to warn patients before prescribing it.... Bring it to your doctor and try to find a way to cope with it or finding a balance...it can be changing, adding a antidote or viagra, Cialis etc.

Do you think if I take a high dose of fluvoxamine and buspirone or tianeptyna will not disturb libido?

I am sorry.

I am not qualified to answer questions such as that, and I don't think the internet is the proper place, it's just to talk about experiences.

Especially when you are considering stopping or changing your medication.

There's no guarantee that you would react the same way others' reported.

That is a decision that should be made based on medically accurate advice, personalized to the particular patient - by a qualified person.

I hope you can find a way to ease your issues.

I went through that phase. It gets better. Sometimes I still get those phases in reaction to new experimentations, but tgey do resolve.

Hang in there.

Does fluvoxamine in doses over 150 mg also damage libido or is it delicate in comparison to other antidepressants?

You don't have pssd. You have sexual dysfunction because you're on antidepressants. If you keep switching ADs, you will make things worse. I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish by raising fluvox dose.

By the way. Most people who have pssd are cured of depression and anxiety due to the numbing effect of pssd.

well, I want to change to a drug that has the least side effects ... maybe then it will get better? besides, I have to take something to eat OCD for a while ... so fluvoxamine is the best because it is the least damaging to sexual function.

What do you think about this?

Fluvoxamine gave me PSSD. Have had it for 16 years now........ I wouldn’t go there.
