This is interesting. I have lexapro induced chronic fatigue syndrome. Started within the first month of being on it and was only on for six months. I went from a professional athlete to bedridden in that time.
I have gone to the top cfs specialists in the world. All my viral titers are high. EBV, CMV, HHV6. Also interesting is that ever since lexapro I can’t get sick. I used to get cold sores but never again after lexapro ‘that shows a huge shift in immune response. Definitely a part of what these meds do.

There was a guy on propecia help that had cfs and also pfs. He was gay so his doctor put him in truvada for prevention of hiv. It ended up curing his cfs and pfs. People kind of disregarded his story but it always made sense to me. It probably lowered his viral load and balanced his immune system.

Things that would be worth trialing:
Valtrex
Truvada
Mms
Oil of oregano
Asea
Food grade hydrogen peroxide.

As well as meditation or neural reprogramming.
You can kill all you want but if the stress system stays activated the immune system will never balance.

@maxin yes it seems that having prolong elevated cortisol can cause the shift to Th2 dominance. I found this and hope you will all find it an interesting read. This doctor talks about how leaky guy is one of the main reasons for Th2 dominance. Also he mentions how everytime you eat sugar you are basically supressing the immune system for 6 hours... Have you had your Serum IgE checked? I believe most of us have this, and it points towards histamine, allergies, and mast cell activation.

Ive had GI issues well before the SSRIs. Primarily IBS. Is that a common illness most of us had before taking pills?

I would like to tell something: I was infected by HSV-2 some months before I took escitalopram oxalate and developed PSSD. Never linked one thing to other, but it makes total sense to me. I really think this could be a promising path to research!

Yes
Allergy is a part of TH2 immune response. Pathogens trigger a different immune response to escape from TH1 attack. You must join my Discord server & PM me mate as we have lot there!

Valtrex is not the right go mate. Without knowing the right Infection, taking a wrong Antiviral can cause adverse effects!
