Pelvic Floor Weak After SSRI Use
Does anyone feel like their pelvic floor is weaker after a period of SSRI use? I used to kegel pre-SSRI and I could really isolate and engage the muscles and really contract them. Now it's hard to feel them, isolate them, and squeeze or moreover to hold for any length of time. I feel at this point that my lingering PSSD issues are 25 percent a general disconnect from my genitalia and 75 percent muted/weakened/pleasureless orgasm.

I suffer a similar problem. A user PMd me a while back saying he was getting big benefits from doing a resistance band pelvic floor stretching programme, I wonder how he's doing now
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature

That was me. I am still doing DCT and have had good results along with another member on this forum. I never suffered from emotional anhedonia (except from porn addiction). Hard flaccid takes a lot of time and hard work to fix - but you can still get good results from resistance stretching in the beginning. I don't know why SSRIs cause pelvic floor to go to shit but that doesn't mean you can't recover. If you don't have the money for DCT (its $250) then at least watch some free resistance stretching videos on youtube and try it out - but you have to be consistent. The main point is that you cannot directly stretch the pelvic floor - but you can stretch the muscles that connect to it. And the best way is to resistance stretch. Thats what DCT is - its a structured online program to teach how to stretch the main muscles that connect to the pelvic floor. So what have I gained? Well I used to have to take viagra to have sex but not anymore - I can even have sex twice in the same day. I used to have penile pain after ejac - not anymore. My penis used to be always contracted and small and cold - now its better but not 100% - from the guys doing the program hard flaccid is the last thing to get fixed - but sensitivy has improved - not back to normal yet either though. My semen used to dribble out but now I can shoot full loads. so moral of the story I am not 100% but I am headed in the right direction - it takes a lot of work and a lot of time but from the 300+ people doing the program and all collaborating similar to here- its the best chance for success. Good luck and seriously at least watch "greg HF" videos on youtube he explains it very well and is pretty funny too.

Fuck. I definitely have to see this. My pelvic floor has been really weak since I took SSRI, my erection quality went to shit, and I stopped shooting too, now I just dribble. I definitely will have to look into this.John5590 wrote:That was me. I am still doing DCT and have had good results along with another member on this forum.
