Gth27 Intro - Pssd after mirtazapine

What are your symptoms? How long were you on it?
Since last week everything got worse,I seem to be
sensitive to parfume and other smells also.
Does anybody else get this?
When I smell parfume I get this taste in my mouth
and my throat is irritating

When I think about what I did yesterday I need to think very hard.

Interesting...I have been on mirtazapine for like 18 months for sleep. I take a very small dose for sleep. I got PSSD from a week of Citalopram (I was on mirtazapine for 6 months before that with no ill effects)….However, now I am having bad cognitive effects from mirtazapine....I should probably quit. Did you try anything else for sleep?

No im 4 months off and things keep getting worse.
Cant remember anything.

Why were you taking mirtazapine? Was it anxiety?

My doctor prescribed it for sleep issues I was never
depressed or anxious. It was not addictive she said.

Dang...that stinks. I take a low dose but I really want to quit. I saw a neurologist who assured me any cognitive effects weren't from mirtazapine. It's never the drugs...yeah right.
