Choline pathways

Unread post by rmichaelballow »

I have reason to believe acetylcholine receptors are desensitized in PSSD. I believe choline uptake in general is awry in the condition as well.

Curious to hear others' thoughts.

Could you please elaborate a little bit?

And if your theory was true, what could improve symptoms?
Escitalopram, 10mg/day, Jan-May 2019. Fluoxetine, May-Sept 2019. Mirtazapine, November 2019-January 2020. Escitalopram, Feb-May 2020.

I just wanted to start the conversation on the topic. Up-regulating receptors (as they come and go, build and degrade fluxingly) is a tough one to crack. However, I've had success with low dose Citicoline (20-70MG), combined with an uptake agent (Coluracetam - high affinity choline uptake), with guys WHERE targeting serotonin binding, test, and DA release has only gone so far.... particularly on the EQ and sensitivity side of things.

ACH concentrations - ACH uptake - DA release

Still way early for me to be conclusive about it, but there is early success.
