testicular pain while lying down

Unread post by theloneranger86 »

I suffer from testicular pain ever since I got on Paxil, and its still there 2 years later. Not sure if I should waste money on a urologist, who most likely will say everything's fine and I am imagining this

Dude, this is serious, if you feel pain down there go to urologist and he will do ultrasound diagnostics.
Cipralex (escitalopram) from september 2012 to september 2013. Forgot exact dosage. PSSD improving since taking 20g MSM powder per day, no porn and regular heavy lifting fitness routine. Stay strong!

Ya I second mcmare here: noticeable, consistent testicular pain is potentially an indicator of something serious and you should definitely get it checked out! It might be a neurological problem caused by the SSRI's, but frankly I think that's quite a reach since i've never read of anyone else on this forum experiencing such a thing (and its certainly not a common side-effect while people are on SSRI's). Its strikes me as much more likely your suffering from something common like a hernia, and potentially even a testicular tumor.

Remember, just because you genuinely have PSSD doesn't mean that there can't be other, unrelated things in your body going wrong that are partially responsible for some of the dysfunction you are experiencing!
