Need advice regarding doctor's treatment plan

Unread post by I_NEVER_SURRENDER »

Hello,
I am an 18 year old male, I live in Spain, and I have had PSSD for two and a half years, after using anafranil and sertraline separately for about one month total. I had strong OCD at the time, from prolonged stress exposure, so my parents decided to first, put intravenously, some omega-3, ozone therapy and one of the two antidepressants, I dont remember which. Then after I finished the ''therapy'', I *possibly* could have been feeling better, but after my parents forced me to take the antidepressants in pill form, which I again, do not remember which one it was first, but the first one I took for about a week or so I believe and didnt notice any PSSD, but after, I switched to the other one and I immediately after a day noticed that I could not keep erections when masturbating, nor did I feel orgasms/was BARELY able to achieve them. I told my parents, and they stopped forcing me to take the antidepressants. I quit them cold turkey, and experienced nausea, dizziness, confusion, migraines for about two weeks after. I also noticed that after I took the antidepressants, I had even worse obsessive thoughts than before, and I was at the brink of insanity, I now had EXTREME OCD, paired with very disturbing thoughts. For two years I struggled with disturbing thoughts, and was practically incapacitated by them, not being able to do normal activities like go to school or even just go outside. Also, some other events happened with caused me a lot of trauma, and basically, only in the recent year or so, after moving into our countryside house, and doing nothing, have I been able to slowly recover somewhat psychologically, I still have intrusive thoughts but I am able to control them more or less, but still they are there. I now am able to go outside, and I now excersize regularly, try to eat healthy (avoid alchohol, coffee, sugar etc.) and even started studying again.

Now that I am psychologically stable, I am able to start recuperating from my PSSD and emotional numbness/intrusive thoughts. I went to a urologist, whom I asked if testosterone replacement therapy (with gel) would help, he said no, even though I read that on reddit some people recovered from PSSD with it, he said I should go see a neurologist/psychiatrist (I thought why not try), so I went to see him, and he prescribed me a treatment plan which consists of:

*Note, this doctor is Spanish, so some medication may be called differently*
-1 week, every day 'Elontril' (some kind of buproprion) 150mg once a day
-2 week, every day 'Elontril' 150mg and 'Tadalafil' (some kind of viagra type drug) 5mg
-3 week, every day 'Elontril' 150mg, 'Tadalafil' 5mg, and either 'Edovis' (supplement) or if I could not find it, he said to look for 'L-Citruline' 3000mg

I would like to hear people's opinions on this, seeing as I have read that buproprion can ''unmask psychosis'', and due to the fact that I had, and still have intrusive thoughts (although I can control them more or less now, and know that they are not real) I am worried that the intrusive thoughts will worsen.

I would also like to ask if ozone therapy, or omega-3 intravenously could cause any of the problems I have which I listed.

Also, I just remembered, a month or two ago suddenly, I lost a lot of awareness and have a really hard time processing what I am seeing. I also forget things really quickly and have a hard time focusing. During this time I got a dog which could have caused this from irregular sleep/lack of sleep, would like to fix this too, so far did a brain MRI scan and nothing showed up, also did an eye scan to check my vision, only thing they said so far is that I need glasses.

Thanks for your time! Stay positive :)

Tadalafil and citrullin can help if you have ed.
Bupropion is most likely bad for you i would stay away.
Edovis has too mans things that can crash you too.
