Meso!!! My man.

Lucas here.

We spoke a few times on Discord... About how Ashwagandha ruined me... And how St. John's Wort brings me back to a 90% cured state after a few doses.

Same with Cyproheptadine, which also cures me, but only 4 days after a single dose...Has this remarkable snap back effect.

Now I am going to be trialling HYDROCORTISONE microdose to truly test whether my symptoms are coming down to LOW cortisol, which would then modulate 5-HT1A.

I would like to add to this list of things to avoid:
-Magnesium Supplements.
-Zinc supplements.
-Potatoe Starch/Cassava starch.
-What @Tree said about Gingner is SPOT ON!!!! Ginger will numb my di** for a good 5-7 days.
-Berberine.
-

Are all signs in my case pointing towards the stubborn 5-HT1A receptor?!?!

I am curious to see what Lithium Orotate does, seeing as though it copies what SJW does... up-regulates post synaptic 5-HT1A receptors.

Then finally I will trial Rhodiola rosea.

For AD alternatives, what about modafinil and agomelatine?

r medication! Everything is potentially dangerous and could lead to a drastic deterioration. Below I will report some of the most dangerous products that are often suggested:
. Zinc , it’s a 5ar-i and aromatase-i, very dangerous, if you want try it, don’t exeed 5mg/die
. Tribulus terrestris, many people crashed on it (I think it destroied me)
. Vitamin D, some users hardly crashed permanemtly on it
. milk thistle, another 5ar-i
. Creatine, raises DHT
. Cocoa, high dose, is a 5ar-i
. Ginkgo Biloba another 5ar-i
. 5-htp (it killed me), it raises serotonin levels, serotonin is poison for sexuality
. SJW, another serotoninergic agent
. Vitamin B12 methyl donor
. SAM-emethyl donor
. Alchol
. Choline, some people reported bad effects (methyl donor)
. Inositol
. Vitamin K2 many users reported joint problem (one of them is dead)
. Licorice root
. All aromatase-i drugs (people died)
. Soy, is a phytoestrogen
. Vitamin E,
. Histidine some people crashed hard on it
. Cyproheptadine
. Quercetin One of our users took the syndrome from it and rutin
. Rutin One of our users took the syndrome from it and Quercetin
. NAC (N-acetil Cysteine)
Paroxetine from 11-2012 to 08-2018 never had sexual disfunction.
Added 5-htp for help with Paroxetine withdrawal, then I got severe PSSD, with altered hormones levels and CFS.
Symptoms worsened with time.

Wow that's interesting, I saw you on propeciahelp man. Especially interesting is licorice, never heard about that. And vit. E/quercetin is interesting.

And when after eating buckwheat, rich in quercetin, I feel bad, I avoid grains and prefer legumes much.

Hi Meso, thanks for this list are very helpful. What do you think about antifungal cream with Clotrimazole? Is it as dangerous as ketoconazole? Unfortunately sometimes I get fungal infections and this cream is the only thing that gets me through in a few days. Until now I have never experienced any side effects from this product.

So where are these people who have crashed from HBOT? I’ve been on this site from the beginning of my PSSD a year ago. I’ve only seen people have positive reactions to it on this forum. I would have never done it if I knew people crashed from it.

Or do I have symptoms of permanent crashes and I’m who we are talking about?

Thanks for taking the time to put this together Meso.

I'd like to second the call for inositol, which gave me a terrible crash.

The problem is that the community is quite fragmented.
I researched inositol as thoroughly as I could before trying it.
After I'd crashed, someone told me that others had also crashed from it. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have taken it! It wasn't anywhere on PSSD forum or the open internet as far as I could see.

Unless you have access to all of the discord servers and monitor them and Reddit religiously, you're going to miss things. It would be great if everyone could let people know about the good and the bad on pssd forum, at least then we can try to look out for each other and the information can be found.
This thread should definitely be pinned.

I've taken inositol and it triggers very intense lucid dreams and massive migraines. These are induced when taking a very small dose. It excites serotonin neurons/induces 5ht release in the raphe so if your 5ht1a are desensitized, you'll experience negative symptoms.

The community is fragmented because people have different degrees of pssd. Pssd severity is related to the degree in which the 5ht1a is desensitized. Genetics, dosage/length of ssri use, complications from other drugs/supplements taken after ssri affect receptor desensitization. We may not all share the same symptoms or to the same severity but ssri has altered the same regulatory mechanism in our brains.
