Is a cure even possible?

Do you think that a cure to PSSD is even possible? That is a cure as in some type of chemical that can completely reverse whatever has happened in the brain. I suppose if pssd is some form of actual damage then that wouldn't be possible, but seeing as how we know very little about the mechanism behind our symptoms I understand that this question is essentially impossible to answer. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this are.
