Hi,
Any of the PSSD sufferers here also suffering from skin conditions like dermatitis/eczema? If so, did it start after PSSD?

Re: Skin Conditions in PSSD Patients
I was suffering from seborrheic dermatitis and it has spread a bit since PSSD (not sure it's related)
I have been suffering from Lichen planus since PSSD (two months after windrawal)

Yes I deal with dandruff. I have tried medicated shampoo, but nothing works. I have used Minoxidil as well as SSRI in the past. I know they both have the same side effects.

Re: Skin Conditions in PSSD Patients
My theory is that if skin condition and PSSD are connected then there could be a (at least partial) hormonal issue involved.
Re: Skin Conditions in PSSD Patients
Whatever the root cause (hormonal or anything), PSSD is as if your body were stuck in "anxiety mode". Anxiety can induce lots of disease, such as... seborrheic dermatitis and lichen planus...IHateProzac wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 10:17 am My theory is that if skin condition and PSSD are connected then there could be a (at least partial) hormonal issue involved.

Re: Skin Conditions in PSSD Patients
Another question is, has anyone sought treatment for their skin condition and did it effect their PSSD in anyway?
Re: Skin Conditions in PSSD Patients
I still use my old shampoo / soap for seborrheic dermatitis. Regarding lichen planus, I try to avoid corticoids...
