Re: I appear to be immune to exogenous androgens.

Taking testosterone for a month and proviron for three days is not going to produce any results even for people without PSSD. You need to try for at least three months with the testosterone if you’re taking 200mg/week before saying that it had no effect on sex drive, muscular endurance and strength,...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy

You can literally read about antidepressants and Accutane causing anti androgenic behavior here. It's extremely well documented: https://www.propeciahelp.com/wp-content/uploads/kalins-pdf/Post_Androgen_Deprivation_Syndrome.pdf I think we need to step back and revaluate the direction we're headed. I...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy

The assumption PSSD is caused by anti-androgen action and it's the same disease like PFS has never been proven This discussion is about SFP / Autonomic nervous system, not androgens so please stay on topic. You can literally read about antidepressants and Accutane causing anti androgenic behavior h...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy

Idk get why everyone gets so focused on antidepressants being unique in causing this condition. Finasteride and Accutane cause indentical symptoms to the ones we’re experiencing. Now what do Finasteride, antidepressants and Accutane all have in common? Well we know they’re all extremely anti androg...

Re: PSSD risk proportional to potency of SERT inhibition

Makes sense I suppose. It must be some downstream effects from inhibiting SERT that is causing this condition similar to how finasteride inhibits 5ar and this inhibition is causes the downstream upregulating androgenic/neurosteroidal effects that create pfs. I wonder though if what’s happening in pf...

Re: PSSD/PFS/PAS - The P450 Enzymes - Possible Mechanism

I did a Great Plains Labs hair metals test and it showed I was low in practically every environment toxin and heavy metal so I’m not sure if that means anything to this theory. Also did an organic acid test and it wasn’t out of the ordinary

Re: Scam warning: Ryan Ballow/Cortex Labs

Why is it that everyone with PSSD gets extremely emotional and defensive when someone disagrees with their theory or challenges an idea. Like seriously, you can have a negative of him but Ryan Ballow isn’t a scammer. I’ve talked to people on the discord who’ve worked with him and he’ll put you on re...

Re: PSSD: Clinical Experience with a Multimodal Approach (Y. Reisman, T.B. Jannini, E.A. Jannini, 2022)

Seriously what is the point of testing the same markers over and over where basically all patients have middle of the road levels and treating them with PDE5 inhibitors and serotonin antagonists or dopamine agonists that produce minimal improvement. Anyone who’s been on PSSD/PFS forums for more than...
