I think the cause is dysbiosis. Although alot of people still have resistance against it which I can understand.
Testing you're gut via a stool test for dysbiosis and treat it is one thing you could try. On reddit more an more people who have pssd get tested positive for dysbiosis, just saying...

I would advice you to not take more ssris, and any form of psychoactive substances for a while. Also alcohol. Do you take clonazepam every day?...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Its because increasing serotonin fucks the gut even more, serotonin is a potent immune cell modulator and can induce autoimmune diseases This is true. Serotonin is a potent immune system modulator. I agree with everyone else though. We gotta keep these forums and discussions clean else people will ...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
I'll say this much, the theory is very much compatible with my experience. PSSD started for me on day 3 of venlafaxine, when I suddenly felt tingling in my penis while I was erect; I immediately lost sensation and went flaccid. On day 14 of Effexor, I started pooping lots of blood and got diagnosed...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
While I appreciate your comment about the leaky gut, etc., my intention was to get people to explore and potentially receive a diagnosis for SFN, regardless of the pathway. So, I would really appreciate keeping this thread on topic. You may not see the value of receiving the evidence/diagnosis of S...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Let’s try and keep this thread on topic which is the possibility of PSSD being small fiber neuropathy. Also, let’s avoid attacks on people such as Healy, the PFS mods/foundation or anyone else. Any insults will be deleted and warnings will be issued. Feel free to debate and be constructive but plea...

You are free to explore your theories here, but dont slander other people or forums if they dont agree with you. If this thread continues likes this it will be trimmed down back to the original topic. Also, i noticed some users are using 2nd, 3rd accounts, if this amounts in trolling we will ban wi...

Re: PSSD could be small fiber polyneuropathy
Totally agree. Honestly I talked to someone who has been on that forum for a decade and he believes they are pushing that theory for research purposes. No researcher is interested in autoimmune diseases but it’s much easier to get the scientific and research community on board when talking about th...
