Re: DL-Phenylalanine
I actually ordered Phenylalanine and a bunch of natural MAO-B inhibitors (boosting dopamine) like garlic extract and green tea extract and I'm gonna be trying them. For me, dopamine is definitely an issue both in regards to PSSD and anhedonia and lack of motivation and confidence.

Re: Experiences with creatine?
Creatine acts on 5-ht1a receptors and some studies say it "enhances the effects of SSRIs" so I suspect it can't be good for PSSD. I have been taking creatine for 5 years straight. I'm going to try stopping and see what happens.

Re: Things that work for me
Somebody on this forum mentioned eating ground beef. Even before this forum I have discovered on my own that eating ground beef does give me better boners. I wonder if it does the same for people who don't have PSSD and also I wonder WHY does it help

Re: Bupropion May have worsened me
When I was on Bupropion I had only mild improvements with libido, like 15%. Low libido/energy is related to depression. These drugs are supposed to put a bit of arousal. But for Buproprion, this effect is expected to kick in after a couple of weeks. It's mostly from dopamine reuptake inhibition. Mo...

Re: Things that work for me
Well, can't say it's good now, in the winter days. I get lonely. But even when I'm feeling good and when I'm with friends, my libido still sucks. It doesn't depend on my mental state really. I used to be depressed and horny.

Re: Things that work for me
Sorry to hear about your struggle. Do you have other symptoms besides the low libido? How is your depression and anxiety? Genitalia numbness? You said Cialis does not work. For how long did you use it and how much? Did you do any hormonal tests Tried 5mg twice, almost nothing. Lecithin works better...

Re: Zinc
Zinc helps healthy people with erections too. But most supplements have too many milligrams. I split mine into 4 parts (25mg/4) and it has the same effect on libido as the whole tablet, without the sedation.

Things that work for me
Hi everyone, I got PSSD after only 30 days of using Escitalopram. It is permanent, been going on for 2 years now. Whoever approved SSRI-s is responsible for a lot of damage. I know they help many people, but for a certain percentage of us, they are absolutely life ruining. Not only has it destroyed ...
