Re: PSSD stories from 80', 90'.
You can ask a lot of questions using "Why there are no stories about X recovery from 80 & 90?" You name it: CFS, IBS, lyme... I don't know how old are you, but you seem very naive. The internet wasn't like this in the 00'. In 90' you barely could find forums. Another thing: there was m...

Re: (PFS) Alterations of gut microbiota composition in post-finasteride patients: a pilot study. Melcangi, 2020
Well, there's a good info about me I think is important: First, my PSSD is just loss of libido. I don't have numbness or any other symptom. As almost 100% of you, I was hypersexual before using SSRI. In 2017 I tried to use a SSRI again (vortioxetine). After a week of no effect, I used just a pill of...

One guy actually got cured from a fecal transplant. Username on this forum is Blauwasser. Check his story out. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. Just an observation: if anyone is interested in this subject, please read a bit the reddit I posted. If you're willing to do a FMT, you need to cho...

Re: How do some people get off ssri's and NOT get pssd?
The majority of the people that quit SSRI don't get PSSD. Some people loss their libido and don't know what was the cause, since they are no longer taking the drug. You won't find much of them online on forums. I've known some of these people. Believe me, the numbers are higher than you think. And t...

It would be VERY interesting if a PSSD or PFS guy did a fecal transplant.

Re: Postsynaptic 5HT1AR: worth re-exploring (trial)
"Within both SERT+/+ and SERT–/– rats the potency of F-13714 was much stronger compared to F-15599 ." F-13714 is a preferential 5-HT1A autoreceptor agonist F-15599 is a preferential 5-HT1A heteroreceptor agonist so are there any accessible analogues like F-13714 ? Both worked and are 5-ht...

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7136541/ Very interesting paper " As mentioned before, chronic SSRI treatment results in enhanced 5-HT levels often causing sexual dysfunctions (Segraves and Balon, 2014). The exact mechanisms for these dysfunctions remain unclear, but are high like...
