Re: Foods containing serotonergic herbs? Can it make you crash?

No, there’s no potential to crash from things like rosemary in food. Don’t be worried. You can eat all food including herbs.

Re: After the EMA request, have the SSRI/SNRI leaflets now really been updated in your country?

@sylv I’m not trying to say that this one sentence is a good solution. I think it’s a scandal. The German translation says something like “in specific cases, these symptoms have been permanent”. However, the choice of words implies that we know in which cases symptoms are permanent. Concerning the P...

Re: After the EMA request, have the SSRI/SNRI leaflets now really been updated in your country?

It is NOT true that packet leaflets have not been updated in Germany. You will find the same sentence as on the Italian leaflets. Actually, EMA defined how to mention permanent side effects, so manufacturers have no choice concerning the wording.

Re: Are there recovery stories after several years?

Well, things are different for Germany. If you google “SSRI sexuelle Nebenwirkung”, the second result is the German Wikipedia page on PSSD. Even 15 years ago I came up with a google result quickly. Re: Are there recovery stories after several years?

What I am about to say may be discouraging, but I feel it's necessary to be honest about PSSD and the course of the disease. Lots of people eventually fully recover or make a significant recovery. Those that don't recover much after many years are a subset of even rarer PSSD sufferers. It appears t...

Re: Improvements from Bupropion

I’m glad if I can help. About your questions: Worsening on/after stopping Bupropion: :!: There was no worsening on or after Bupropion. It just stopped having a positive effect, so I went back to baseline. This also includes small “emotional” effects (tingling in your stomach region), although I‘ve n...

Re: Improvements from Bupropion

@ElaineBenes5 I took Bupropion from October 2017 to July 2020. during the first 2 years it had a very strong positive effect (80% or so compared to the time before I had taken SSRI). However, the effect then slowly faded. So I decided to taper it in July 2020. In November 2020, I started bupropion a...

Re: Participants wanted for PSSD study. Contact: sulawesi1@web.de

It was canceled because there weren’t enough participants who met inclusion criteria.

It’s possible though that there will be a study in the near future. We’re still waiting for a preliminary study with healthy subjects to be completed. I’ll let you know as soon I have news on this.
