Re: I think i am close to discovering the cure.

Because in every case that inositol cured PSSD it was taken full dose before bed. Serotonin firing in somer areas during sleep is inhibited or almost nonexistent, it is possible that there is interconnection between those 2 events. I think it should be taken at least 7 weeks. Also consider the fact ...

Re: I think i am close to discovering the cure.

I believe every PSSD shares the same etiology, no matter what SSRI was taken. It is dysfunction of exocytosis in serotonin neurons. presynaptic 5-HT1 receptors 1A, 1B, 1D mediate serotonin inhibition but it is not the cause of PSSD. There is data that states that 5-HT2B (which is also presynaptic au...

Re: What if this is purely psychological, pure hysteria converted into physical symptoms?

I wonder why its hard to imagine that drugs that are literally used for chemical castration might cause persistent issues for some. I wonder why it's hard to imagine that the sexual energy can't be destroyed, nor the depressive energy they can only be transformed. Why it's hard to imagine a convers...

PSSD Research - YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED.

Hi, u can remember me from last thread about pssd etiology. I do research on my own reading every paper (full one, not the shortcut that is often time available for free) that i think might relate to pssd in one way or another. I stated that 5-HT2B receptor play important role in genesis of PSSD, bu...

Re: Everything we knew about PSSD is wrong. Check out why.

I don't know how people come up with these theories. You must be living under a rock or something. There have been many reports, myself included, of crashing from 5ht1a agonists. Agonists don't make things better but they sure as hell make things worse. This is why I'm convinced 5ht1a desensitizati...

Everything we knew about PSSD is wrong. Check out why.

Most prevalent hypothesis about PSSD is that SSRIs downregulate 5-HT1A autoreceptor which controls serotonin flow in the brain. In effect there is too much serotonin which is connected via negative feedback with dopamine and thus the result is PSSD. Now let me tell you why this is wrong: 1. Neither ...
