Re: opiate withdrawal cures my pssd.

Yeah a number of us have noticed the same improvements after withdrawing (hangover) from alcohol. Something could be happening with k/u-opiod antagonism or inflammatory cytokine expression changes. Get a cytokine/CRP panel done. I'm going to ask my doctor for one next as I think there might be somet...

Re: Metergoline - 5-ht1a antagonist

Cypro had effect on you? Ive been reading posts about people mostly complaining about sedation. DId you ever tried anything next to it for dopamine effect? yeah it has been helping a little bit. I couldn't tell you how, maybe it's the anti-cortisol action and feeling more relaxed. I'm still mostly ...

Re: Metergoline - 5-ht1a antagonist

hello guys, I just wanted to inform you that metergoline hasn't helped... I took it for 3 weeks at 4mg with 250mg forskolin and I had no increase in libido.... now I'm pretty sure that 5-ht1a antagonists won't help pssd.... let's move on to nystatin... What about your ssri history? what did you use...

Re: Are we all screwed?

ive had good sensitivity improvement and my libido is high, the only issue i have left is lack of spontaneous erections and erection quality this i can fix with cialis easily. for delayed ejaculation, abstinence fixes it. so i would say ive improved quite a bit over ten years. its a long process. i...

Re: Are we all screwed?

Ghost, why do you assume that under perfect conditions this forum could find a 'cure'? This is an extremely rare neurological condition, and we're a few dozen anonymous strangers who mostly have no medical training. If we were trying to find a cure for a well-established condition like Parkinsons o...

Re: OCD

I've heard of good reports from inositol and cyproheptadine. Also making sure you're getting B vitamins. Make sure you are eating enough calories and not stressing yourself out by avoiding the signs that your blood sugar is off. This can be a cyclical process, so I suspect you can take the edge off ...

Re: PSSD Symptoms (Official Thread)

Interesting. When I was on fluoxetine I had severe problems controlling urination. It’s very embarrassing, but actually I peed my pants several times. This might have been caused by a pelvic floor dysfunction (that again was caused by fluoxetine). However, this side effect was not permanent. ...

Re: Any POSITIVE Updates?

We certainly need a thread like this. I don't want to encourage anyone to have false comfort that time and patience will save you, as I used to have this thought. Over the last couple of years I have tried numerous numerous things to help pssd and anhedonia and I can really only say that the followi...

Re: Prevalence of PSSD ?

OK. But I can sure write, PSSD is a rare but real condition. There are worldwide many undoubted cases of persistant sexual dysfunctions after psychodrugs discontinuation. True. We will likely never really know, one could assume it's rare by the low volume of members we have here. Of course this exc...
