Re: Can Trazodone cause PSSD?
Just to reiterate a couple things Ghost mentioned: 2) Anything up to a few weeks is normal 3) It's very unlikely to stick around. 99.9% chance of your being right back to normal soon. edit: 99.9999% chance of recovery. Dalmatian said on propeciahelp that he is only days removed from taking the drug,...

Re: Partner with PSSD
Just wanted to stop by and say that the story of you and your SO is inspiring. If only all of us suffering from a post-drug illness involving sexual side effects could be so lucky. I went from an ex-wife who sent me on a journey of finding the source for my (at the time) 12 year relationship with ED...

Re: 5-ht theory and steroidogenesis [Coraggio's corner]
Does anyone know if Prof. Melcagni has shown any interest in testing neurosteroid levels in cerebrospinal fluid of PSSD patients?
After his paper discussing the commonalities between PFS and PSSD, one would think this is the logical next step.

Presentation by Sexual Health Clinic Discusses PSSD
Hello all,
An acquaintance sent me a link to a ppt presentation by a sexual medicines clinic that recognizes PSSD where they discuss it briefly:

Thought some of you might benefit by trying to contact them.
Best regards.

Re: Accutane Recoveries?
For people with sexual problems post-Accutane, It's more or less the same as PSSD. ED, genital numbness, loss of libido, decrease in semen or lubrication, often severe anhedonic depression along with it. It's not that there aren't some recovery stories, but they are almost always dubious; usually pe...

Re: Visual Imagination
Not sure how it is so difficult to understand that some of our imaginations have become dulled and less vivid. This includes everyday, run-of-the-mill mental images, as well as sexual fantasies. Maybe it's something you have to experience first-hand to comprehend? There is some neurological componen...

Re: Why the multiple sclerosis’ symptoms are so similar?
It is most likely PSSD, but it would be worth double checking to be certain. I have seen doctors repeatedly overlook glaring indications of a problem until it was brought to their attention.

Re: Why the multiple sclerosis’ symptoms are so similar?
That's very concerning if this is progressively getting worse for you. They also sound like very severe neurological symptoms of PSSD/post-SSRI. Have you been checked for MS lesions for the sake of ruling it out? There is always the slim chance development of MS with a manifestation of some sexual s...

Re: Why the multiple sclerosis’ symptoms are so similar?
Hello. Wanted to chime-in here and say that I have a close acquaintance with MS. We were discussing our respective conditions and our mental/neurological symptoms are strikingly similar, although hers sound as if they are much milder. ...Perhaps she is just more accepting of it. Emotional blunting, ...

So, it looks like there is a pending review/meeting within the FDA to discuss the merits of the petition?
Nice!
