Re: PSSD Genome Project [Megathread]
For example - Most SNPs are useless because they have no research, I fear you may pass-up a "PSSD SNP" if you go about your project this way. Even if there is no research on a particular SNP, it would be associated with other possibly related genes through its location. Not sure if this i...

Re: I want to give some people some hope on here
So you're trying to tell people that some form of muscle tension is the root of this evil, there is a name for it and it's called "Hard Flaccid" and that there is someone claiming to have a cure, but you haven't been cured yet?

Re: Isotretinoin ruined my life
Wow. I never noticed the similarities in our stories from what you posted on propeciahelp. I tried nearly all of the treatments you tried, minus the slew of SSRIs and nootropics. Only sertraline and NSI-189 for me and the sert gave me total anorgasmia while taking it and the NSI gave me terrible hea...

I also take low dose Accutane which impairs 5ar a bit, Dear god, what are you trying to do to yourself? Are you not aware of Accutane causing essentially the same symptoms as PSSD? It is what put me in my never-ending hell. I began to lose my libido within 2 weeks of starting the drug and experienc...

Re: Why don't you contribute to the propeciahelp survey?
Hey, just wanted to drop by and say Thank You to all those who participated in the survey and have been encouraging other PSSD patients to do the same.
I truly wish the post-Accutane community was as helpful and eager to contribute.

WHAT!? I've never heard of such a thing as developing this condition from SAMe, but had a god-awful reaction to a combination of SAMe and methyl-B12 last August that I still haven't fully recovered from: https://forum.propeciahelp.com/t/a-warning-about-same-methylcobalamin-and-high-dose-b-vitamins/3...

Re: Post drug syndrome survey (IMPORTANT!!)
A post by Borax, a PSSD patient on the propeciahelp forum, that really drives home the point of taking the symptoms survey: borax A year ago, axolotl and awor sat together and began working on multiple projects that were designed with the purpose of getting us out of this mess in mind. One of these ...

Re: Accounts of Inositol also mention other chemicals
What is the conclusion? Most of the substances that have lead to a temporary recovery/remission for PFS patients have been found to have some type of anti-androgenic effect. @lull1k is just pointing out this observation. Licorice Root is another substance that has worked for both PFS and PSSD patie...

Any word on a time frame for publication of the study Coraggio so graciously funded?
It's amazing there is so little discussion about one the few research leads pertinent to explaining PSSD.
