Re: low dose ssri
Do we have any idea about which SSRI to take? Would it be the last one we took? I switched directly from Paxil to effexor xr, so I have no idea if I would have had pssd if I had only taken Paxil and quit. Also, I don't know if effexor comes in an immediate release form or if that matters. It's all u...

Re: lithium orotate
According to the hypothesized mechanism of pssd, downregulation of presynaptic 5ht1a receptors is its cause. So further downregulation would not be desirable. But I don't think studies about lithium monotherapy (meaning lithium carbonate) apply to the lithium orotate you're taking, because it's typi...

Re: N-ACETYL SEMAX AMIDATE
I just tried Semax for 10 days. It was definitely good for mental clarity, better than other things I've tried, but I did not get a pro libido effect or improved emotional range. The N-Acetyl amidate version has an extra group on the c-terminus and n-terminus of the amino acid chain that supposedly ...
Re: Shrinkage
Hi, I had my testosterone checked at 22, 6 months after getting pssd, which came back at 700ng/dl and again at 29 in 2011, still with pssd, at 685ng/dl. Optimum range but balls are a little small..

Re: DoIt's story and hopefully recovery
Sorry you had that reaction! I tried Inositol for several days also (2-3g one dose at night). I didn't get any disturbed thoughts or sickness, but I had more difficulty with memory and focus. I'm taking STEM classes and can't be thrown off in that way, so I had to stop as well... Other than that I n...

Re: Experiment: Inositol Powder - PharmD OP
That's great your emotions are coming back online. Loss of emotions is one of the worst aspects of pssd in my opinion.. Are they like before SSRI's or is it more manic like?
I still haven't given the inositol a try, because of the brain fog Ghost mentioned. Notice any negatives in that area?
