Re: GABA A3/4/5, inflammation and mitochondria
Yes of course. I first tried dexamethasone years ago. I was a professional dancer and had to get through a performance, so docs gave me a weeks worth as I was having such bad fatigue. This was a few months after stopping ssri. It did help but he only prescribed for a week. But this led to me to seek...

Re: Pregnenelone
Thanks guys. I have done a lot of trials of hc. I also trailed prednisone and dexamethasone at different points. The steroids will make me feel better for about a week, but then I get so much worse fatigue wise. And so then I would add thyroid but wouldn’t be able to handle the thyroid. When it work...

Pregnenelone
Im in the middle of trialing pregnenelone again. My body temps are so low and I know I’m not getting enough thyroid, but my body does not handle thyroid even in tiny doses. Thyroid causes major fatigue (on top of my chronic fatigue) and a handful of other symptoms like tooth sensitivity and depressi...

Re: GABA A3/4/5, inflammation and mitochondria
I tried hc as well, as well as dexamethasone and prednisone. I believe there is something wrong with the steroidal system but it’s not as simple for some of us to just add them in. I’ve combined with every kind of thyroid there is and every way of taking thyroid. Super frustrating as it seems it sho...

Re: GABA A3/4/5, inflammation and mitochondria
Omg I’m the same Mesolimbo. I took lexapro, been off now for 12 years and still suffer hypersomnia and a form of chronic fatigue induced from ssri. I can sleep forever. Just did a trial of pregnenelone and it made this SO much worse.

Re: Glucocorticoid receptors
I’m trying low dose lithium orotate to test the effects on this axis. I suffer from cfs and it’s making me feel more tired and blah, but I did have a crazy five minute window that I can only say felt I was remembering my old self. So I want to give it some more time and I will update. Making my voic...

Re: Glucocorticoid receptors
At least in my experience of suffering for 10 years, it all comes down to glucorticoids and cortisol. I was obsessed with cortisol when I first came off of lexapro. I remember getting tons of different tests, and I was a dexa non suppressor. Of the hundreds of things I’ve tried, the handful of thing...
