Post surgery opiods - frustrated as hell
I'll be having a couple of surgeries soon and I'm basically worried about the post surgery opioids (and abour the antimietic drugs post general anesthesia as I have bad reaction to general anesthesia) I've just read that most opioids acts by inhibiting serotonin reuptake. What should I do? Should I ...

Doxepin?
I was prescribed this drug to help with anxiety and allergy at the same time. It's says it is serotonin blocker, 5ht2a and 5ht2c antagonist but also serotonin–norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) (a reuptake inhibitor of serotonin and norepinephrine), but there's no info about tje receptors so I...

Re: Trazodone
Most of my profound gains were due to trazodone- increased sensitivity, reduced numbness, increased ejaculate volume, restoration of emotions, ability to feel love, etc. Its also quite risky, I would expect it can cause bad crashes as well. Not surprising because its highly selective for 5ht2a whic...

Re: Safe anthistamines for PSSD? I would appreciate your experiences..
Hey Gonzo How about loratadine? It's used for allergies but has also been used as an adjunct to reduce ssri side effects. It can also increase the effectiveness of sildenafil (there are threads mentioning this elsewhere on the forum - I've tried it and it increased effectiveness for me.) https://ww...

Safe anthistamines for PSSD? I would appreciate your experiences..
I've been researching anthistamines as I need more options for a severe chronic condiron. I'm suffering heavily because of this conditon, which is making my life completely miserable, a lot of nights I can't even sleep, but I'm very scared to crash again I'm currently taking Claritin ocassiionally b...

Re: Foods containing serotonergic herbs? Can it make you crash?
Around 2017, my girlfriend gave me some 100% natural herb melissa, in a jar. I took a lot of it, many days (the whole jar actually within some months), a teaspoon in every dose and it didn't affect me at all! (I have pssd since 2003) Then, years later, I was looking for some Melissa again so I tried...

Re: Foods containing serotonergic herbs? Can it make you crash?
P.S. I’m of course talking about normal amounts of herbs like a teaspoon or so. If you eat really large amounts then herbs can of course have a therapeutic effect which - in the case of PSSD - can affect your symptoms positively or negatively. I don't have the answer! Btw english is not my native l...

Re: Foods containing serotonergic herbs? Can it make you crash?
Well, if you “believe” in it, anything can cause a crash. I’ve had PSSD for 15 years now: no window, no crash. I eat whatever I want and I’m fine. You don’t crash from normal food, tea or things like that. A lot of people who suffer from PSSD are so scared that they overthink things and are scared ...
