If I was feeling bad on a scale of 10 at the onset of PSSD I would say I was 10/10. Now I am more like 8/10. So, do I feel better? Not really.

I got COVID-19. I had a fever and a scary palpitation the first night the symptoms began to appear. This subsided by the next day, but I developed a horrible smell and taste. More specifically cooked food items smelled terrible and my tongue felt slimy.

First thing first, and as hard as it sounds, your son needs to accept his condition as the 'new normal.' Being depressed & anxious about this will only make things worse for him. Perhaps, he should consult an endocrinologist and a neurologist as well. I doubt they'll be of much help and it is hi...

If insomnia is the problem try sleeping not in your bed, or any bed. Try the sofa.
