Re: Attempting to cure/reverse my own PSSD
As both Buspirone regimens will include multiple drugs either way, might it be worth adding in Cyproheptadine to the current protocol first, to see if this helps with sleep?

Re: Long term problems from Ropinirole
I dread to think it but that possibility has occurred to me. Hoping it's not. I understand that would mean pretty much most / all other dopamine drugs will make it worse.

Long term problems from Ropinirole
Firstly I just want to say a massive thank you and give acknowledgement to Mesolimbo for everything he’s doing at the moment. Last year I took Ropinirole to treat PSSD. I took low doses: a quarter of a 0.25mg tablet once per day for aprox 1 week. It worked really well for improving sexual symptoms, ...

Re: Attempting to cure/reverse my own PSSD
What dose Licorice Root extract would you consider taking? Perhaps very low doses might be enough for GR downregulation without suffering too much of the estrogenic effects?

Re: Radar Intro - PSSD After quitting Citalopram cold turkey
Thanks Mesolimbo, I intend to start on T / dopamine substances soon. RE Vortioxatine, I realise my symptoms are mainly sexual but there is definitely something else missing beyond sexuality since coming off Citalopram. Given my positive experience on Citalopram, the onset of my PSSD (on withdrawal) ...

Re: Radar Intro - PSSD After quitting Citalopram cold turkey
I recently tried Sarcosine as advised by Mesolimbo. I’ve only taken two doses; After the first dose (1g) I felt immediately “switched-on”, more focused / alert + mild anxiety for a few hours after ingestion (not severe enough to bother / deter me.) The next day I took a lower dose (500mg) which seem...

Re: Radar Intro - PSSD After quitting Citalopram cold turkey
Thanks so much @Mesolimbo, this is incredibly insightful. There’s a lot of new information to process after years of wondering what happened. Also thank you @Jaxx for the great points raised. It seems my goal should be to increase NMDA activation with Sarcosine / D-aspartic acid, which should impr...

Re: Radar Intro - PSSD After quitting Citalopram cold turkey
Thanks Mesolimbo, Will be as detailed / concise as I can. Pre-Citalopram Hypersexual, had aspects of OCD, depression / mild anxiety. On Citalopram 20mg ( initial reaction ) ED for the first few weeks, which resolved itself Initial euphoria - felt like a mild version of MDMA every day This ‘honeymoon...

Re: The right way: How to address PSSD comprehensively.
If forum members wanted to try this protocol but are unable to obtain Rivastigmine, how well might Huperzine A work as a possible alternative?

Re: Radar Intro - PSSD After quitting Citalopram cold turkey
After almost a year since my first post, I thought I’d offer an update on what I’ve tried so far. As there’s been lots of interesting new info on the forum recently from members such as Mesolimbo, it would be awesome to have their insight on this situation ( PSSD after quitting Citalopram ) and we...
