Re: Found relief for PSSD

@G_Kone85

Didn’t you say you were cured from taking cocaine on a daily basis? I remember very vividly how you tried to convince the members of the German PSSD WhatsApp group to take cocaine …

Just to add some context here.

Re: PSSD studies and depression/anxiety among the exclusion criteria

In the 2015 study, the authors didn’t exclude people suffering from anxiety or depression. They defined individuals suffering from anxiety or depression as a „possible case“, not a non-case. That’s a major difference. TABLE 1. Criteria for Case Probability Categories Noncase One or more of the crite...

Re: PSSD Genome Project [Megathread]

Is it possible that chat.openai doesn’t understand that PSSD is only if symptoms persist after stopping the medication? All the studies it refers to are about sexual dysfunction during intake, not about PSSD. There definitely are no studies on biomarkers in PSSD patients.

Re: PSSD caused by poor metabolism of specific enzymes?

There is a study about poor metabolizers which says that they are more likely to suffer from sexual side effects. I think it’s this one:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19204908/

It’s a free-access article.

Re: Roller coasters and falling: pleasure or suffering?

Where does that information come from? I’ve never seen any evidence that would support this claim. I'm surprised that a non-newbie person on this forum- and especially one who uses this polls subforum, wouldn't know that yet, being as it's right here in the second page of poll threads. . Well, and ...

Re: Anyone have experience with bupropion?

There’s a lot of reports on this forum. Try the search function and you’ll find several posts on bupropion. 150 mg every two days will probably not do much. There have been positive and negative reports on bupropion. It appears that it can improve sexual functioning on the one hand. On the other han...

Re: NY TIMES INTERVIEW, NEED PATIENTS

That’s a great chance. However, may I ask why people who suffered from anxiety/depression are excluded? That’s like making an article about finasteride and excluding people who took it for hair loss. I don’t want to start a discussion, just curious to know.

Re: My story

Hypersexualty not necessarily means any improvement in genital anesthesia. Could be as well the effect of antidepressant induced mania. Especially in the case of dopaminergic Mania is VERY rare and comes with a range of other symptoms. It’s quite easy to differentiate between manic symptoms and pro...
