Re: Ambien, anyone tried this? Gaba manipulation downstream similarities with alcohol withdrawal/han
Correct it seems to be that drugs that raise prolactin induce dopaminergic compensation during withdrawal, one of the reasons I suspect is that due to ssris raising prolactin that our bodies have lost the ability to break prolactin down. A study showing that ginkgo increases TRH mRNA and prolactin ...

Re: My life ruining experience with Zoloft
Interesting note to add to this after reading lots of other threads. I have always had (and still do) OCD and also more than ever post sari have INSANE restless legs. I could sit here bouncing my legs all day long nonstop if I didn't consciously stop. Doesn't bother me at night though.

Re: Diindolylmethane (DIM)
From the TRT forums DIM supposedly is an anti estrogen but it doesn't actually lower estrogen it just blocks certain receptors or your bodies way to use it in certain areas.
It would be so interesting for us to compare pre and post ssri blood tests to see what is actually changinon a hormonal level.

Re: Pregnenelone and DHEA
In theory though, wouldn't supplementing Test and or DHT directly have he same effect (which I can personally attest doesn't completely fix the problem) rather than taking a precursor to each? My Endos are always interested in DHEA but if you look at the steroid tree image (google) it doesn't serve ...

Re: Sleep deprivation and PSSD Symptoms - az89 OP
This has intrigued me also. Some of my best periods have been when I'm run down with little sleep or even sick and have had barely any. Hyper alert, hyper horny and almost perfect sexual and penis function, loose and full and warm. Dopamagenic and cortisol stress effect I have figured. It's like our...

Re: low dose ssri
Why not try a natural precursor like 5HTP or the like? Maybe in higher dose? Safer than the hard stuff lol

Re: Ambien, anyone tried this? Gaba manipulation downstream similarities with alcohol withdrawal/han
Personally I discount ever needing to go back on an ssri as a good idea in any case. Why, when they are the reason for damage to begin with? Possible that ambien would work but the fact it's not a long term solution is what bothers me. Alcohol and tramadol/ opiates have the same positive effect for ...

Re: Connection between visualisation and libido. Experiment.
FWIW I have a very vivid imagination and libido and erections can still suck.
Imagination itself is not the driving force. The is an actual physical and neurological issue here.
We all can make the difference between wanting and not wanting stuff. Even when we want to, it still doesn't work.

Prolactin can kill sexual function dead. Always good to get a full

Re: My life ruining experience with Zoloft
I'm sorry. I can relate to what you said about your pre pssd libido. Even if I get normal function back I do not think I will ever get back to that point of instantly getting rock hard in the close vicinity of an attractive woman. I wish they had warned us all about this. It is interesting that the...
