Re: Are we all screwed?
Ghost, why do you assume that under perfect conditions this forum could find a 'cure'? This is an extremely rare neurological condition, and we're a few dozen anonymous strangers who mostly have no medical training. If we were trying to find a cure for a well-established condition like Parkinsons or...

Re: New Proposal
There's no financial incentive for any drug makers to acknowledge PSSD, let alone make a cure for it. Legal action is our only hope.

Re: Recently discovered I have this terrible condition
Sorry to tell you but the meeting with the GP will likely be useless. They won't believe you. They will ask you all sorts of insulting and personal questions about your sex life and their expert advice will amount to 'go back on the prozac and try out this other psychiatric drug too for good measure...

Re: Is PSSD Permanent?
Depends. One of the complications of PSSD is that if you're impotent for a long time, you actually lose the physical ability to get and sustain an erection, regardless of your (neuro)hormone levels. I think I'm past that point now. So even if a cure was found that resolved the complete lack of libid...

Re: PSSD In Person Meet Up Event
Ok fema4psyciatrists where do I start.. "There are no statistics bothered to be made to find out if we are statistically significant in numbers or not" then "more than 20% of that figure reported PSSD" cant have it both ways there buddy. Either those comments are contradictive o...

Re: Do windows mean you will eventually recover?
Who knows. I remember a post of Sonny's I saw where he posited that windows come and go indefinitely (he's had PSSD over 20 years). Still, having them is a good thing in itself. I haven't had any windows that weren't brought about by taking a new vitamin/medication etc.

Have you tried SJW megadosing? 5-10 grams? I saw significant if temporary improvements doing that.
