Re: UK Newspaper article on PSSD

Thank you for this very interesting article. I'm going to print it out and give it to my doctor next time I see him. I'm also thinking of attaching this article, which I found enlightening: https://www.ourbodiesourselves.org/blog/when-antidepressants-leave-lasting-damage-living-with-post-ssri-snri-...

Re: Important article on the PSSD of 10 June 2023 in Dailymail

This is very encouraging to see. After the Mail on Sunday article last autumn followed by this one, our condition should be getting a fair bit of attention. This paper is one of the most read and circulated in the UK. Thanks for sharing.

Re: New RxISK blog post: Remind Your Sister to get Vaccinated

I really think its important we make efforts to distance ourselves from any discussions regarding vaccinations. If PSSD is connected to anti-vax movements in the eyes of the public, we may as well give up on official recognition of our condition and public pressure to fund research into a cure. More...

Re: UK MEMBERS, DO YOUR PART, GET INVOLVED!!!

I met with the team of my local mp in south London after the daily mail article was published. They are interested in following it up, possibly with a question in the commons. I'd recommend anyone in the UK to visit their mp and show them the daily mail article. We should encourage them to work toge...

Re: UK based Charity / Organisation / Committee

I would be keen to help out with setting up a charity/organisation in the UK. Maybe a first step should be compiling a list of interested members and setting up a way of communicating together.

Re: UK MEMBERS, DO YOUR PART, GET INVOLVED!!!

I contacted Helen Hayes about PSSD in 2018 so you can add her to the list if you haven't already. Hoping to meet her on 8th or 15th for face to face meeting at her surgery.

Re: Which symptoms should I deeply research next? your input is needed

There has been a lot of research on loss of libido but so little on emotional numbing, it would be great if you could give it some attention to fill this gap. We know that SSRI's cause anhedonia and emotional numbing but it is still misunderstood and completely ignored by the medical community, any ...
